Greinke had the biggest drop at 44 rpms so far on fastballs. I haven't done sliders or curves, but will wait for more data on those. Garcia and Framber are the only notables not to have pitched yet.

Just throwing this out there... if they've been doing it longer than every other team, their rates would stay roughly the same.

Only if the Astros pitchers decided to use sticky stuff while MLB was checking pitchers.

Ummmm, no they wouldn't. The length of time that they were using some type of grip assistance is irrelevant. Once they stopped, their spin rates would decline, just like everybody else on that list.

Nothing even wrong with him...well there is a lot wrong with him mentally. He got himself a Dr. note to get out of facing the Astros the next time around. He's just trying to collect paychecks this year.

    Awful.

Medical Update on Mike Soroka – This past Thursday while walking to the clubhouse at Truist Park, Mike Soroka felt a pop in his right Achilles. An MRI was performed, which revealed a complete re-tear of the tendon. Soroka will require season-ending surgery, which will be scheduled within the week.
