Until Booker getting Pat Bev out of his head and starting to hit his shots, Suns are not going to win the series. They were lucky to steal game 2 in the first place with Booker struggling. Also Cameron Payne needs to come back from injury.
Lue is not afraid to adjust, change lineups and just go with the next man up. Beverley is really making a difference, he's in Booker's head and even before this I was laughing at all these commentators saying there's a toughness to Booker. I haven't seen that killer instinct from him at all. He settles a lot, granted Clippers defense is solid, but still. I do think those 3 straight fouls on Booker were bullshit. If those were all fouls then Beverley fouls every second he's guarding someone...he's getting next level protection from the referees at times for sure. Some home cooking I guess.
Yep. That play changed the course of the series. They barely won Game 2 because Payne played out of his mind. Now if Booker keeps letting Bev intimidate him, the Suns are doom.
If Lue and PG win this series, it changes their careers. I did not believe in either. And they have me scratching my head.
I can’t see the clippers winning this series without kawhi. Even with him I don’t think they’re that great. I’d much rather see the suns in the finals even though if the bucks get through Atlanta I’d have them in the finals. Atlanta and Phoenix have similar personnel. Phoenix Atlanta finals would be the most entertaining.
Yeah when I posted that they were showing the black and white las Angeles ones along with the Corresponding court. I’m not a fan of those. Not really a fan of these gray ones either tbh. Nothing about their jerseys or court match. 3 different reds white black blue gray. There’s no cohesion.
