I love Keon Johnson, helluva defender.

Same size as Jalen Green but more explosive.

Jericho Sims would be a nice UDFA signing for Rockets.

 

Greg Brown and Ziaire Williams have practically same height and vert scores, difference is 2nd jump and physicality of play style.

Not to mention wingspan.

 

Combine the two and you get Draft Combination

 

Scrimmages come on ESPN 2 in about 10 minutes at 2pm.

 

He struck me as an anachronism from the beginning. Very skilled back to the basket PF with no real ability to play away from the hoop. He's apparently a very talented player, but it looks to me like he was born at the wrong time. When they were talking about "fringe lottery", I could never figure out where he would fit.

Im sure if you ask scouts, theyll all gush about his skills in a vaccuum, but the sutuation changes when you think about putting him on the court for your team.

 

This makes sense to me but at 31 it feels like a risk worth taking. I always think that players with a lot of finesse and skill in their game will eventually learn other things easier than guys that win through superior height/strength. I’m sure that if he is all that and such a gifted post player, he will eventually gain an outside shot.

Might be an interesting guy for our later picks.

 

Would not mind over drafting JT Thor with 23rd or 24th pick.

In case anybody cares, apparently when he first signed with Baylor, he did so because he had been released from his original commitment by Alabama because of a failed physical for a heart condition, so this isn't something new.
