Word is there is a deal ready they are just waiting until the end of the season to take care of all that.
Yeah, I think Mobley shuold be the #2 in this draft and he's been mocked there for the entire season and would go #1 in other drafts...but that's another discussion that can happen on the garm... The concern with Suggs is that he's good at many things but not great at anything, other than his passing and bball IQ. He has a higher floor than Green and Mobley for sure but the main concern I'd have is his ceiling. I think he projects to be more of a Jrue Holiday kind of guard in hwo he affects games and not exactly a franchise guy but you love him on your team. I think Green and Mobley have MVP level potential and I think that's what the draft will show. Rockets will take Green or Mobley and the Cavs will take who we don't pick. But if we were to take Suggs I'd root for him...I just don't think his ceiling is as high as those two guys and if you're drafting #2 and need a superstar player you take the player with the most potential and hope it works out.
LOL 76ers werent an injured team...hawks had more injuries and were missing more important players than 76ers(hunter, reddish)... Embiid averaged 35 minutes and 30 points in the series he scored 40pts in back to back games.. you cant do that if you are injured..... everybodys playing injured in the playoffs(trae eg) and the tweets about a minuscule meniscus tear was just a good preemptive PR to deflect the blame for being a failure as evidenced by EVERYBODY giving him a pass
Gotta love bigs showing they're still valuable. Happy for Clint! Imagine a Hawks vs. Suns finals, epic for the real fans, a disaster for the ratings since most regular folks don't know anything about them. No Lebron, no Curry, no Durant, No Greek Freak - no watch. NBA has nothing to market haha it's their own fault though. In other sports people love to see the real underdog, the unknown to win it all, but in the NBA - granted mostly due to horrible sports journalism, hot take twitter and youtube headlines for clicks - that's basically a worst case scenario. Hell, supposedly someone or a crew at First Take said Milwaukee is a horrible city for the finals...WTF?! That's literally the only team left with a marketable star for your Finals since Kawhi is out.
How is tucker playing? i didnt pay much attention to him defensively but can remember he really didnt score more than couple of times I am just not afraid offensively of any team featuring tucker...he can hit that corner shot( almost exclusively when wide open) and give you an ocassional offensive rebound but he can hardly do anything else on offense besides that and defensively, hes not the rim protector and is hardly stopping anyone... perhaps it made sense to play him vs durant but now?
The generation of 3 freethrows. Back then, follow through fouls were not called. The Giannas face palm was an accidental light touch while after he turned away to look at the basket. Soft game is soft. These 45+ games would have been like 35+ before the rule changes.
In the final minutes of the previous close game, Bud had him out there when Hawks had the ball. His defense got him playing time. In the course of the game, Bucks went to switch defense, to mix things up. Trae started hunting mismatches, so I wouldn't say it entirely worked, but guys like PJ gives Bud options, to switch up the defensive scheme when needed.
Exactly. People say fans like superteams rivalry. Maybe casual fans. Real fans like excitement like this rather than knowing who would be in the Finals before the playoffs even started.
