Depends on who we draft. But I’m ready for the rockets to move on Wilson, House, Lamb, Gordon ,Bradley and Exum can all depart.

We have so many guards it’s ridiculous.

    • have to bring back Augustine. He’s shown he can run the offense in Silas system.

    • I really like the energy and athleticism that Mwaba brought. Was our best player in transition and we needed that.

    • Bring back Brooks. We need snipers on the perimter if our strategy is too still jack up 45 3’s.

    • we’re stuck with wall. I don’t want to attach any draft picks to get rid of him. Eat the contract. Lessen his minutes if you have to but eat the contract.
    • Keep KPJ
    • Keep Khyri Thomas to continue evaluating
    • That’s already six guards
    • keep KJ and Tate
    • Keep Wood.
    • on the fence about Olynyk depending on cost and who we draft.
    • Keep Cameron Jackson. We could use the size. We’re already small

Porter Jr., Martin Jr., Tate, Wood, and Olynyk.

I don't really care about what happens to anyone else. As long as those five are on the Rockets.

Also no more Eric Gordon please.

KPJ, #2, Tate and Maybe KMJ are the only people that matter.

Everything else is just asset management.

Since we're still in the tank and development phase, keep maybe 2-3 vets and let the rest move on. I'd like to keep Augustin, Nwaba / Brown and maybe Olynyk as mentors. Since Wall is likely to stay, Augustin can leave.

Wall, Porter Jr, Nwaba, Brooks, Martin Jr, House, Tate, Olynyk & Wood can stay.

Porter, Tate, Martin, Wood, Thomas, players from draft.

Everybody else is expendable. Undoubtedly there'll be some guys that can't be moved (Wall,) but there should be no priority in holding on to any FA and everybody else should be on the table for young players and picks. Maximise how many people we're developing, let some stars emerge and the replace the ones that didn't with a more ideal supporting cast.

    Cameron Jackson?

If you meant Cam Oliver, he is likely Vipers bound.

Only one of those guys can shoot the perimter shot at high volume. For a great percentage. With the way we play, you’re basically asking for another high lottery next year

We don't owe our pick next year to anybody right? Why are we aiming to compete? As far as I can see it, the best way to rebuild would be to play the youngsters as much as possible (and other youngsters, maybe we draft a shooter or 2) and underperform whilst they develop. More high picks isn't a bad thing you know.

We keep & develop the youngsters (Porter, Tate, Martin, Thomas, Brooks). Alongside our rookies, next season will be a great opportunity for growth (and could set us up to draft high again next year).

Additionally, I think we keep Augustin, for veteran leadership and solid bench play. I also think we keep House, as he's on a decent contract and could be a good asset for any future trades. Lamb, Oliver, and Reynolds to the G-League. And of course WOOD.

I think we're stuck with Wall -- contract is just too big to move. Hopefully he accepts that he can no longer be "the guy" on a team and is content with a reduced role. It'd lessen the strain on his body, and I think he could be a real benefit in shorter bursts. I don't want to spend value to dump him, and he'll be a HUGE expiring in two season, which should be an appealing asset at that deadline.

Decline Avery Bradley -- he struggled with injury while here, but don't think he's worth the money. Nor is DJ Wilson.

Would love to resign Nwaba and Brown, as they're both solid defenders with zero ego. But I don't think they'll want to stick around for a rebuild, and teams will surely want to invest in players like them.

I think Gordon's future is up to him -- if he wants to spend the last few productive years of his career on a winning team, I think we work with him to find a suitable destination. As long as we're not taking back negative assets to get it done. If he wants to stick around (or stick around while keeping the door open for a midseason trade), then I'm fine with that, too.

I'd actually like to keep Olynyk. If we could get him in the ~$10 range for a few seasons, then he could be a part of the equation in the 22-23 season (when we should start competing for the playoffs again, provided this rebuild goes well). He's a good shooter and works hard. I'd like to see him alongside Wood, and pitching that to him (as opposed to signing him as Wood's backup) could convince him to stay. Dependent upon his willingness to be a part of a rebuild and serve as the old head with all of the kids. Suppose retention of Kelly also depends on who we draft.
