Trae got clamped like, 3 possessions in a row after Giannis gave his team a talking-to. When the Bucks put their mind to it, they're the best defensive team in the league.
Another example showing that the impact of a big man even as good as Giannis is "just" rebounding and defense, not scoring. Jalen Green over Evan Mobley any day.
Sorry for not making myself clear. I just don't agree with most analysts saying Bucks would crush the Hawks simply because "they can't stop Giannis". Bucks do have an advantage with Giannis' versatility on both ends of the floor and the shooting from Middleton, Holiday, Forbes etc, but not because Hawks simply can't stop Giannis (from scoring).
Where was this energy when Giannis had 40 and 13 while Middleton and Holiday were a combined 14-49 in game 7 against the Nets?
I am not saying he's not good at scoring. I am just saying his primary impact is defense and rebounding. It's like when Dwight Howard was with Orlando Magic when he can be a 30-13 type of guy but Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis were the go-to guys when the game was on the line.
Trae didn't even bother to run a play there, and just chucked up a 3. McMillan needs to get that out of Trae's system. Still don't understand why they went away from the PnR with Collins. Hell, try that out with Capela even.
