I stopped listening at the 22:00 mark because they both leaned towards Mobley. Nice to know there’s some smart people around this website

Yes, I keep hearing that Anthony Davis comparison.

AD at age 19 had some broad shoulders that everyone could
    tell would fill in.

Mobley has Kevin Durant narrow shoulders. I bet Jalen Green
standing in front of Mobley has equal or greater shoulder width
(shoulder to shoulder). Probably both with 17 inch wide shoulders.
Problem is one is 6'5" and the other is 7'0" tall and plays center.

*these are not Mobley shoulders pictured

I wouldn't want that, he doesn't have the lateral speed, or endurance.

A great podcast, guys, from beginning to end. A truly broad discussion about more than who we should pick at 2, seeming to be between Mobley and Green, Suggs not to be ruled out. You also discussed the possibility of trading down from 2 to 3 (or even 2 to 4) if there was a really valuable offer on the table. Fascinating stuff.

Discussion about Mobley's fit with Wood. Green's fit with KPJ. Suggs likely to have the most immediate impact and a player you couldn't discount as having star potential, should we go that route. What to do with picks 23 and 24. Keep them? Deal one or both? If so, for what?

One of the topics you covered was how the Rockets landing pick #2 impacted OKC, a bitter blow that I enjoyed hearing the details about. Hot takes on not only the picks and swaps with OKC, but the future impact of the "get" from the Harden trade.

Endless tasty speculation for nearly an hour, with a promise for more closer to the draft. Can't wait!

Great podcast clutch and Bima. We haven’t had a lot to cheer about over the last year or so, but I’m still on a high from last night. I’d be happy with any of the top 3 players you were talking about (Cade, Green or Mobley). I believe we have a potential franchise player in the top 3. I also think it’s important that we build through the draft and not rush our rebuild. Like u said, we now have two more years to keep drafting before we have to worry about pick swaps and such. Here’s to looking at rock bottom in the rear view, and a promising road ahead. I only hope our front office has the discipline not to undercut the rebuild. This is our chance to really turn the page on the Harden era and build to last!

I like Green with the pick. He will do fine in the 5 out. Scorer, can get his own shot, speedy blow bys to the rim, and shows promising 3 point shot. He will fit right in to the system. Mobley is not a 5 out Center, but a good prospect nonetheless.

After Green, grab a 3 and D wing like 6'9" Trey Murphy who shot over 40% from 3. Then a Center/Forward that fits our system, IF there is one. No need for a Center with the second pick, unless he shoots like Oly AND plays defense on bigs. Mobley gets abused by bigs with sand in their pants. I doubt he ever fills out. Body like Durant, who can't guard bigs.

Is leaning towards or away from Mobley considered smart? It's a tough call, I dont think anyone is dumb for leaning either way. But I'm team-no-big-man-in-top-2.

    I got ya

The Issue seems to. be that the 2-4 guys seem interchangible.
We don't seem to agree on which one is above the other 2
    So
Trading down to 3 or 4 would not mean loss of talent but if we can become more flexible or pick up an asset
    it *MIGHT* be worth noting

    Also.
I like TATE. We have to find a spot for him.

An elite 7 foot defender from the SF or PF position would be awesome.

At the same time, we saw what había score at will SG can impact a team.

And if Suggs is a Jason Kidd lite, how can you go wrong with him,

I am enjoying being in this position. And fellas, relax, this is why Stone gets the big bucks to make the final call. I for one almost can’t make up my mind. If I had to pick I’d go Mobley because I am a fan of defense, but I truly am stumped.

In the discussion, an interesting thought crossed my mind — our rights to the Detroit pick may actually have far more value to Detroit than most others. As was mentioned, even the Tatum / Fultz trade included just one lightly protected pick.

If you could move up from 2 to 1 by kicking back the Detroit pick and say 1 more pick (let’s say #23 this year) — I assume everyone says yes to that?

    After thinking about it.
    I'm ok with this.
Wall leaving with speed up the progress of Kevin Porter Jr, which is our next star.

    Simmons
    Porter Jr
    Wood
    Mobley
    Tate

We don't need Ben Simmons to be the #2 scorer.
