No. Brown is hurt and Smart isn't enough. Be patient with Wall. A top pick may force him to pass the ball more often.
How about 2 , 23 & their own pick they owe us for 1 and their top second rounder ? I keep #24. the pick they owe us keeps them from trading any #1 until that pick conveys .... that really handcuffs them.
There appears to be some desire for change in Boston. If they really like a guy at #2, is it that unreasonable? Wall has value to them for guard depth... Tatum isn't a player who needs the ball to have success and can spot up for passes from Wall...
Just spitballing here but... To Houston: SGA Most of the picks given to OKC To OKC: #1 Cade Cunningham To Detroit: #2 and #6 Would take okc to be crazy for Cade and Detroit preferring the depth of the draft over Cade...
I'd rather have wood than suggs... just not sold on the guy.... You have to remember he would be playing off the ball.... Porter needs a spot up shooter who can guard the other teams best backcourt scorer... you can get that lower in the draft... I don't want guys who might slow down Porter's development by commanding usage...
c wood e Gordon d house for a wiggins james Wiseman #7 pick add #23 or #24 pick to the package if necessary
The Magic’s best chance of moving up in the draft might be the Rockets’ pick at No. 2, Josh Robbins of The Athletic speculates. Orlando holds the No. 5 and No. 8 picks and might entice the Rockets to trade down if the Magic are willing to take on Eric Gordon‘s contract. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2021/06/southeast-notes-simmons-todd-magic-draft.html
Tilman's true desire has been exposed once again. Unfortunately, he is capable of this. Stone is his slave. Morey was too.
I don't buy it. EGo's contract is bad but it's not holding us back from doing anything. No need to worsen our pick just to dump him.
No Way in HELL! Cade isn't Magic. This draft has some nice players in the 20's. We need more irons in the fire not less.
I wish we could flip Wood for #3 or #4. Building around bigs who can't defend is not the way to go in this league.
Rockets trade Wood, House, Gordon, # 23, # 24, 2023 proted FRP via Wizards, 2023 unprotected FRP via Bucks. Rockets receive Kevin Love, # 3, # 32 Rockets draft: 2 - Jalen Green, 3 - Evan Mobley, 32 - JT Thor Rockets sign Richaun Holmes, Otto Porter Jnr. Why they do this: They cash in on some of their draft stock and the impressive Christian Wood to find 3 cornerstones of the franchise in KPJ, Jalen Green and Mobley. They hold on to most the picks the got in the Harden trade but have to swallow Loves contract. They sign some young vets that could help the team seach for a play in spot if everything falls right. Cavs trade Kevin Love,Larry Nance, # 3 Cavs receive Wood, # 11, # 21, 2023 unprotected FRP via Bucks Cavs draft: 11 - Moses Moody, 21 - Ziaire Williams Cavs resign Jarrett Allen, sign Kriss Dunn Why they do this: If the Cavs want to win sooner rather than later, Christian Wood should help you in the short term. While still having a young team, this makes them a lot more well rounded. They will still have a trade asset in Sexton which should net them a possitive return, while handing the reigns over to Garland. Knicks trade # 21, # 32 Knicks receive Gordon, House No draft Knicks resign Derrick Rose, Nerlens and sign James Johnson Why they do this: Knicks go to win now mode by adding some vet role players. They bring back the guys who worked for them last year and hope Randle still improves on his stellar last season to see them through the playoffs. The knicks still have room for another major FA signing, even though the pickings may be slim this FA year. Hornets trade # 11 Hornets receive Larry Nance, # 23, # 24, 2023 protected FRP via Wizards. Draft: 23 - Chris Duarte, 24 - Isaiah Jackson Hornets resign Malik Monk Why they do this: Hornets get more role players around Ball and build their bench but give up # 11 to do so. They also pick up Nance who would be a great small ball 5 in this system which is somethinh Charlotte have gone too with PJ Washington.
Not sure about that but one thing is for sure the draft pick positions would look a lot different 4 years from now.
