It’s really a toss up after Cade and the Rockets probably won’t have a better opportunity to land a #1 overall. I say go all in.

Too early to say at this point but if I had to choose now, it would be Mobley. Bigs that can stay on the floor are a lot rather than guards. We will likely be in the high lottery again next year and there will likely be guards available at the top of the draft.

I’m already assuming Wall and EG are out...

    I would not saleem.

I'm very high on Jalen Green as I was on Cade Cunningham.

    Green offers:
    youth
    athleticism
    flexibility
    foot speed
    hand speed
    leaping ability
3-tier levels of scoring (3-pt's/mid-range/at rim) plus FT's

Both offensive and defensive flaws can be worked out by slowing
    Green down at times......adding weight/muscle.

Has a game similar to Harden's game:
    not as good a passer
not as good a step back 3
not as good a driver/finisher in terms of absorbing contact then scoring
not as good a Free Throw shooter

But Jalen Green works within all those skills and can be at a top A level
scorer as the NBA offers a greater amount of open lanes than at the G-league
level. I expect Jalen to improve his step back 3; which will suck the
defender up, Green with that quick first step (Harden known for) is going to
draw the gravity of the defense, opening up cutters, slashers, catch-n-shoot
3-point shooters in the Silas system. Will also do well in PnR as well.

I'm not concerned with wingspan, height, and hand size as others are; I feel with
his speed and ability to change direction that Green will get where he needs to go
and elevate to the point he can dunk with both hands.....negating hand size
issues or dunking with only right arm complaints.

Green will get to the free throw line about 8 or 9 times a game, hit some 3's,
get some dunks/layups, kill teams in the fast break, hit some mid-range buckets.
30 plus points a game is not out of his reach once he turns near age 21.

And we can add #23 and #24 picks......all gravy when you consider Kevin
Porter Jr possible progression. Just this innocent bystanders opinion.
Can't speak for others. Get me some second round picks by way
of trades of Eric Gordon, Exum, Nwaba, Sterling, Bradley, Augustin,
    and House.

Thanks. I do like Green, not as much as Cade. There is no doubt we need depth with the 23rd and the 24th picks. I'm okay with going for a stable player like Murphy III with the 23rd. Maybe Greg Brown with the 24th if he has good workouts or Bassey too. Acquiring a second is a must. Unfortunately, all these guys that you mentioned are hurt, apart from Augustin. He is 34 now. Who will want him?

It depends on how badly they like the player at #2.

Well I see Exum is about to suit up for the Olympics (Aus). He would be SnT.
Nwaba is a good defender that a contender would want on their roster (SnT)
Sterling is not bad......was not just a corner 3-pt shooter like previous year (SnT)
House needs to go........can help a contender not named Houston

Augustin might be a guy we keep since we probably won't get Suggs or Cade.
Then again we may end up getting Duarte, Butler or Lewis. Who knows?

Agreed, this is even more of a reason to draft Green

Green this year and Chet or the big foreign guy next year. Both of these bigs are better than a 7'0 215 Lb Mobley. IMHO

This man is wise. Green over Mobley for me. Suggs over Mobley for me too. Green is a better prospect than Suggs. No to Kuminga or anyone else with the 2nd pick.

Imagine if Mobley can add like 15-20 lbs, and can develop a solid 3 pt jumper along with his already GREAT defense, fluid athleticism for a big AND his passing and rebounding.

The rebounds (off. and def.) plus spacing he can create, assuming he works on his mid to long range jumper, plus the defense.

    MAN!

I'd be open to trading the #23 and #24 pick to move up in the top 20. For the #2, I'd probably choose Mobley, we can finally have a center that is 7 foot to go along side Wood. I would love to add Green

I would consider something like this...

    To Celtics:
    John Wall
    #2 Pick (Mobley)

    To Rockets:
    Jaylen Brown
    Marcus Smart

Celtics get a veteran point and young big to pair with Williams and Horford.

Rockets get backcourt defense and Eric Gordon replacement in Smart...

    PG Porter / Smart
    SG Brown
    SF Tate
    PF Olynyk/Martin
    C Wood / rookie

Brown is young enough as a piece...

    Wood for a late lotto

Select Josh Giddy with the late lotto, Mobley with #2

Buyout John Wall, re-sign the GOAT, Oliver and Nwaba to 3 year deals

    Giddey / Augustin
    KPJ / Nwaba
    Martin / Thomas
    Mobley / Tate
    Olynyk / Oliver

    It wouldn't be boring

Celtics would laugh you off the phone.

You have them giving up a 24 year old star who just averaged 25/6/3 on 40% from 3 shooting, and the heart and soul of that team in Smart for the worst contract in the league and the pick.

I totally disagree, he will be bullied in the nba. N did u really say u would rather have a skinny soft big over a wing in today's nba. A wing that's a bona-fide scorer. Idk what nba u watching. Look at kristaps but without the shooting. That's what u getting in mobley

    Gordon
    Wood
    House
    #24
    #25

    for

    Wiggins
    Wiseman
    #7

Draft Green and maybe Scottie Barnes?

    KPJ
    Green / Brooks
    Tate / KMJ
    Barnes / Barnes
    Wiseman /

Suck for two more years, get two high picks, then when Wiggins and Walls contracts fall off, throw heavily pursue Kat or Embiid
