Did not watch more than 3 minutes of this series. Did CC play well? I hope so. Glad he and CP3 advanced and JH has to watch from home.

I've said it a billion times. I 100% understand and agreed with (at the time) trading CP3 (not necessarily for Westbrick) based on his 2018 performance and what I expected to be the quick end to his illustrious career. Never imagined he'd look healthy again.

We gambled and lost. Looking back, we should have just stayed pat. But again, you only know what you know at the time. We would have been gambling that our 45M dollar crippled point guard would suddenly look young and spry again. Odds were against it. What could have been. :(

i watched highlights mainly and an occasional game...and the game 7...
Overall, he played surprisingly well for my liking... none of that weak stuff...looking forward to someone who watched more and paid attention to detail...

Clint has been playing well mainly because Trae is a tiny James Harden with his float and lob game. Plus Clint maximizes his only really skill: Running fast and often.

I thought Clint did a good job on Embiid in the minutes I watched. He moved his feet well and made things difficult. Kind of like Tucker on Durant, you can’t stop him, but you can at least make his life difficult, and Clint did that. I was impressed with his mobility and hustle.

I still don't get why the Rockets let him go.

When the analysts say that Trae's attack is efficiently disguised because you can't tell apart his lob from his floater, that was like vintage Harden.

From day one, Capela always made an impact in the playoffs. Liked. Think Ante will completely shut him off though, He's going to have a tough time. And if Atlanta loses one horse, it's gonna be a rough ride.

hahahaa i forgot all about the bonus... its hillarious

    quoting
Well done Morey, keep being cheap!
$1M of Capela’s salary only as bonus after winning the conference semifinals?
Ok, he got his money in the way Morey asked him to do…

Morey losing to Capela was a nice little cherry on top of that series haha

specially tasty because it happened during semi-finals
with Capela rewarded by a bonus – that Morey had put in his contract!

Morey’s revenge is that the $1M bonus will be considered "likely" for next season, lowering Hawks’ cap space (despite of being Cap money anyway)

Capela might be traded in a year or 2. That rookie Big O is going to be something special.

Kevon Looney wasn't on the other team, so he had a nice series.

Seriously though props to him, seems like he's back to 2018 level on both ends.

Well deserved for Clint. Him and Collins are under contract for a few years now. Kinda sucks for Okongwu, who looked good when Capela was injured. A #6 pick with legit talent might not like riding the bench for 3+ years. Maybe deep post seasons runs will keep him happy.

Jalen Johnson also tore up summer league. Hawks frontcourt is looking deep/crowded.

Should have kept him locked up in OKC.
