Where is D Rock?? I never want to hear anything about how elite Ben Simmons is again. He ****ing sucks. Simmons, Maxey and Thybulle for Harden would have been an absolute disaster.
So glad the Rockets did not get Ben Simmons and chump change for Harden. Philly & Morey were valuing Simmons way too high. Simmons is simply horrid on offense.
Makes absolutely no sense that Simmons hasnt gotten better at shooting yet. He's been in the league long enough.
Doc Rivers is like Coach Calipari, a well liked person off the court but a mediocre coach on the court. But with Morey as GM you can afford to be mediocre as long as you play his dumb down predictable system.
I admit I'm surprised because the Hawks are pretty average to below average defensively. Philly should have had their way with them. Poor planning and execution plus the absence of Ben Simmons led to their defeat. I have no sympathy for the 76'ers. I'm not a Hawks fan, but I hope they will upset the Bucks. Addendum: I'm glad the Rockets didn't go after Ben Simmons. Perhaps they might pass up on Evan Mobley too, if they get into the top 4.
