Trae Young is a highly productive all star but come on Luka Doncic is a top 3 player and probably a perennial MVP Candidate. Trae will get there soon but right now he ain't that

I have to say, Atlanta did a pretty excellent job acquiring talent. They took their lumps, stacked lotto picks, and then added good depth in free agency. They didn’t mind moving on when things didn’t work (e.g., Rondo). They made it through a ton of injuries this year, too. The big question for them this summer will be John Collins. And then when all these guys come off rookie contracts. They’ve got a lot of potential growth still in Trae Young and Kevin Huerter, and even guys like Deandre Hunter, Cam Reddish, and Oak. All of those guys are under 24 (so is Collins for that matter).
Crazy thing about ATL was that it was just a few months ago when their players were openly revolting on their head coach, were far under .500 and had teammates criticizing the star player to the media. What a turnaround!
