All this hot 3 PT shooting in these playoffs makes it even more troubling to understand how do you miss 27 straight damn 3s...

How was it not an elimination game? He eliminated the Jazz.

Even before Russ, MDA was getting decimated by Harden Double teams he knew were coming. MDA kept getting bounced by the double team not Russ.

No he wasn’t man and you know he wasn’t. We were playing all time great teams. Double teams are not why we lost of the Warriors

Westbrook WAs garbage and he was garbage again this playoffs.

John Wall is a better fit next to Harden because he can shoot.

How many times does Russ have to fail in the playoffs before you get a clue

I find it so funny the two players of DOPY is unplayable/no impact in playoffs year after year. Its pretty much a fact now their just season players and just overrated as heck.

as much as i don't like mitchell and his insane unsustainable shooting the last 2 years, he had 39/9/9 and the clippers had to double him to hope to slow him down. only so much you can do.

sort of seems to show that the nba needs to figure out a way to bring defense back. i don't know what you do, but when a 7'-3" dominant rim protector is considered worthless in a playoff game, we've gone too far in the direction of 3 point shooting and wide open offenses. if the first 50 years of the nba were way too favorable to big men, we've gone too far the other way now.

My only reason to dislike Mitchell is him being on the Jazz. I'm hoping he forces his way out.

So now it’s Harden’s fault Russ makes stupid decisions, dude get over it, he’s not good. Your feelings won’t make his stats good

i mean they gave the guy a team that had the best record in the league with mitchell having a really good but not superstar level season and they had a 25 point lead. where else is the grass greener than that if he wants to be the #1 on a title team?

Beverley going up to take a rebound from Gobert with 38 seconds left. The icing on the cake.

It's really a tough situation of how do you balance it out. The thing is that everyone seems to love offense right now. I just think it is more meme-able and relatable for the average sports fan who would never be on one of these forums.

Even in the NFL. The NHL had issues with too many low scoring games a few years back and made major changes to open it up. The MLB seems to nerfing pitchers right now due because of their own offensive issues.

How do balance it out, but maintain the attention of the fans who don't care about defense and who rarely watch full games?

Big men are great they just need to be mobile. Anthony davis for example is the perfect big man for todays game when healthy of course. He covers so much ground defense and very versatile on offense.

bev went from hard worker, to too many antics, to now catching too much criticism. would be cool for him to get to the finals now. every team left has some part of the rockets diaspora on it, although i don't really want cp3 to win.
