Mobley is projected to be a skilled big though and that's different. Like Mobley might become a stretch big and he has the potential to be able to defend multiple positions. I'm not saying he's #1 on the list or anything but I'd take him if we have 3 or 4 and he's there.
Clippers definitely shot well, but a lot were wide open warm up shots. Plus over the last 20 minutes, especially during the 17-0 run, the Jazz were really sloppy with the ball, not even getting shots on their possessions. And when they were, they kept trying 3's instead of attacking the rim. Gobert also couldn't hold on to an offensive rebound to save his life during that stretch.
Yes. Very underrated head coach. Clippers made a ton of shots in the 2nd half, but going to a zone defense was brilliant.
Me too, but the league would have to make major changes in their thinking to really bring them back. Like bring back hand checking, limit zones, and become harder on calling illegal defense.
Coach is too afraid to hurt rudys feelings. You cant win like that. It was a simple, obvious adjustment but didnt want rudy upset with him. Doc pulled simmons at the end of the game so they couldn't put him on the line. Thats what a real coach would do, especially in a closeout game. Smh
@Carl Herrera — Missing U Pat Patterson? Headed to the Conference Finals, but he got the DNP-CD with fellow Rocket legend Boogie Cousins.
I mean this has really been the entire playoffs in the nut shell. Blowouts and crazy comebacks because nearly everyone is counting 3 point shooting which is streaky. The few great back and forth games were only so because neither team could hit 3 pointers or both were stroking them.
unless i'm forgetting something, he should have 2 losses from 2017 and 2018. edit: also just realized, this wasn't an elimination game.
All these teams with championship expectations getting knocked out early. Lakers. Jazz. Bucks or Nets. Maybe Philly? Ooof Jazz got it the worst lol. 1st seed. Kawhi out. Blow a 25 point lead. Devastating. Shoot Rockets dumpster-fire season isn't looking all that bad now (provided we keep the pick)
