I remember. And I would love that, watching a series with you would be fun.

    You catch the Nets-Celts tonight?

Nets defense is looking very good.

    YES!!!!

This is what I've been trying to say.

The 5 spot is very devalued and players are still evolving to fit modern NBA.

Need to pick up the players who are falling through the cracks.

Yes I watched the game. Robert Williams should start over Tristan.
Unfortunately for Boston R Williams only averages 19 minutes per game. Celtics need him to play
36 minutes. He was having a field day with 9 blocks and 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. +5.

A few players for the Celtics are cement boots players.
    Fournier was attacked constantly. (-14)
    Tristan (-16)
    JaBari Parker as well.

Second and Third round will present more challenge to the Nets.
No Jaylen Brown hurts the Celtics.

    True.

But Nets are on cruise control too, still beat Celtics by double digits in 2nd straight game.

Oh I saw it differently. I saw the Nets struggling mightily against a weak team.

Bruce Brown thought he was 7 feet tall or something.....flipping up soft put backs.
    Williams sending them out.

I was watching Fournier on one play traveling through the lane defensively
and instead of going to the front of the rim (to get in position) to block out.
He instead goes and camps out left of the rim which was the weak side
on that occasion. Sure enough, Kyrie goes down the middle of the
lane uncontested for the rebound dunk or lay in. Amazing how
some of these players have made it so far.

Sure athleticism and size I guess. He was there blocking out no body.
Hoping for an air ball I guess?

Then you watched a different game then Celtics HC Stevens.

Nets adjusted their switch defense in the 2nd half and locked down Tatum and that was all she wrote.

“We just got to attack their switching better,” Stevens said. “They’ve got a lot of long, athletic guys out there and prideful individual defenders and they know how to play. So we’ve gotta be better at manipulating actions to get what we want.”

Brooklyn’s size bothered Tatum, as he shot a combined 2-of-7 when guarded by Durant, Jeff Green, and Blake Griffin.

The reason game was even as close as it was was because of your initial and correct response regarding Robert Williams dominant defense.

If it's not an allstar/superstar, they're not worth mentioning. We have enough role players.
    I'm talking Khawi or CP3.

I don't like that. That contract is a bargain for a role player and could fetch something via trade. Is he just washed up?

We need vets like Olynk who don't have big egos but also aren't on negative contracts. Young teams need solid vets who can be good mentors on and off the court.

Spurs Sell 30 Percent Combined Stake To Sixth Street, Michael Dell At $1.8 Billion Valuation

The San Antonio Spurs have announced that Peter J. Holt has been elevated to managing partner of the franchise. Holt is the son of Peter Holt and Julianna Holt.

At the same time, Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm, and Michael Dell have joined the Spurs investor group as Strategic Partners.

The Holt family remains majority owners of the franchise.

Sixth Street manages over $50 billion in assets and operates from nine offices around the world. The firm was founded in 2009 as a partnership focused on core values of integrity, responsibility, and teamwork. Sixth Street’s investing approach is built around using its long-term, flexible capital base, cross-platform team culture, and data-enabled capabilities to offer solutions to companies across all stages of growth.

Michael Dell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dell Technologies, a company that he founded in 1984 at the age of 19.

“We are forever grateful for the contributions of every Spurs investor dating back to 1973. There are countless individuals who have impacted the organization and our community in so many ways over the last five decades,” said Peter J. Holt. “The Holt family is excited to continue working with all of our investors to provide the support, leadership and resources needed for the Spurs to continue to thrive in San Antonio.”

According to Leslie Picker of CNBC, the deals value the franchise at $1.8 billion with Sixth Street taking a 20 percent stake while Dell took another 10 percent.
