The Vietnamese and Proud Boys are gonna team up and overthrow the government now. Pho will be the national dish by 2024 at the point.

As a lawyer, I am aware that the testimony of a single witness is sufficient to prove any fact or facts in controversy in a case. Such is recognized by the courts and has been for centuries. This is true not only in the United States, but in other countries which have adopted English common law as well. In California it is contained in Criminal Jury Instruction (CALCRIM) 301. "The testimony of a single witness can prove any fact. Before you conclude that the testimony of one witness proves a fact, you should carefully review all the evidence." In support of her testimony was the statement of Governor Northam regarding abortion while the mother is in labor, "If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother. So, I think this was really blown out of proportion. We want the government not to be involved in these types of decisions."

I have presented my evidence, a witness testifying under oath corroborated by a sitting Governor. Do you have any rebuttal evidence you would like to present?

There are plenty of instances when someone testifies falsely in front of government bodies including Congress.

5 people who lied to Congress, and what happened to them

And... well, there was this women...

And... not surprising you would follow trump and other disproven memes by bringing in Governor Northam's interview.

I can see you are strongly against infanticide (who wouldn't be?). It's very hard for me to believe people (except the crazies of crazy) are capable of just allowing a newborn to die. That's inhuman and humans do not behave this way. But if babies are indeed being left for dead, I would be right there with you fighting this wrong. Any person, the gov included, that knows infanticide is happening and not doing anything about it is in my book committing a horrible crime himself.

The Gov was referring to the extremely tragic and rare case where the baby was delivered and was going to die. It was then up to how the parent and doctor want to handle that extremely tragic situation.

I have no basis to doubt whether this testimony is true or not but that this is one person from decades ago making this testimony incidents like this appear to be very rare.

I haven't followed closely what Gov. Northam said or the VA law at issue but on the issue of late term abortions this does appear to be a very rare and not something as some have claimed as a regular practice.

And is there any surprise as to the names on this list (boebert, mtg, gosar, roy, goehmert, clyde, biggs), the very worst of the worst. Their constituents should be ashamed.

My guess is had Pence known now how things would go, and how irrelevant he would be now, I 100% am convinced he would have followed along with Trump's big lie, and refused to sit for the certification. Not saying that it would have been successful (I think Chief Justice Roberts, and Nancy Pelosi would have power still if Pence refused to sit for certification), but at least to remain relevant, Pence would have done it knowing now how he would be perceived and how powerful the GOP & FoxNews would allow Trump to remain.

If Pence was a smart politician, he'd stop doing what he's doing, and join the Never Trumpers like Cheney, Bolton, etc. who have cut ties, but still are relevant in that small circle by being defiant. Pence trying to do what he's doing now is just a waste of his time.

My neighbor has a bunch of giant signs outside his house of Jews being loaded into trains with the caption “vaccine masks will lead to this”. I asked him to take them down on social media and he just went off about politics. I never mentioned politics, I just felt the signs were trashy and needed to come down.

    These people are sick.

Even that Marjorie Taylor Psycho admitted it's a false equivalency and apologized.

Somebody fed him that line and he only has a superficial knowledge of what happened in vietnam.

He does not care either way.

If we can just start voting in competent, logical thinkers no matter the party we would be much better.

We are currently in the social media era of gov and many legislators use those rules, mostly republicans.

I remember when the worst we had to worry about ronny jackson were the lies he uttered about the health status of trump... here he admits that redistricting is the only way republicans get power back

Every time someone tries to argue differently, the republican party still is the party of trump...
