My rockets championship hats and shirts. My oilers starter jacket from 6th grade...only to see if my kid would wear it now.
Au contraire. They were most definitely cool as a 11-16 year old or so in the 1990’s. I just wasn’t cool enough to have one.
Mmmmm...I missed that trend. I'll ask my brother (younger) manana, but I am still dubious. ETA: This was apparently a thing around 1991, and I was there, but I do not remember anyone of High School age ever wearing anything like this, this sounds more like Junior High b.s. https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/581233/hypercolor-clothing-fad
My very limited edition “Sam I Am” t-shirt ... a litho piece, but sold only during the ‘94 (or ‘95) Westheimer Arts Festival out of a few boxes on a corner, bc ... story is ... they got shut down for infringement. Sam’s head on the Seuss artwork from the cover of the book, “I dribble. I shoot. I score.” And as I recall twirling a BBall instead of hat maybe I never should have worn it. And then pulled it out of my closet 25 years later to don and shock the world.
Lol, it was definitely junior high BS, and I had one of those shirts. But then Badmotorfinger, Nevermind, and Dirt came out and Grunge happened. Goodbye to Girbauds and Z Cavariccis. Hello flannel and Doc Martens.
My rad Pac-Man Fever crop top from the early 80's, when men could wear short jorts and crop tops and still be men.
My old concerts T`s...............I had one RUSH T shirt I bought at their show in St Louis that lasted about 20 years. My Van Halen T shirt lasted but one day my ex wore it and the dam band broke up
