    If we’re being real, aside from that title run 10 years ago, has Carlisle really done anything of note in his coaching career?

    I'm thinking Luka has way too much power and Carlisle nor anyone in the organization could tell him anything. Carlisle saw that Luka won the power struggle against Nelson and the gambler and he knew that he had no chance. Luka is like, nuh uh, you can't tell me nothing. We'll see what leaks come out, although I suspect not many seeing as how Luka is the future of the NBA.

    Someone posted something about his contract not being renewed, so it looks like he's gone, as well. If he isn't, then things really get interesting.

    Yeah, but that was a glorious title.

    I don't know if he's a good coach for this NBA but after that title, Cuban decided not to resign key players and they never recovered in time to salvage the last remaining years of Dirk's prime.
