he just had his recruiting visit on campus I believe on Tuesday he was here. He just came from an Ohio State visit last week. From what I heard UH is definitely in his top 5 and he still has pending visits to Michigan and Florida St. I believe
In addition to shooting well, his passes were incredible. Definitely increased his chances with his all around performance.
QG will get drafted and get an opp, but ultimately he has to prove he can score when guarded by a tall athletic, and he has got to put the rock on the floor and get to the basket against that same talent. He can shoot, but can he get his shot off, and I am suspicious. The one thing he will have is offensive rebounding aggression. That is learned by few. If he can improve his handles that would make him a threat to drive. Rooting for him to succeed.
I missed the game but read where he scored 27 points. Looking forward to seeing how high he goes in the draft. Anyone have link to highlight reel of QG in today's game?
man he looks so comfortable out there right now and playing with extreme confidence. Agree, I believe he did play himself into the first round with this strong of a showing. Originally I thought he'd go 2nd but he's clearly on a higher level than many of the other players in the combine. He's going to be a good 3 and D wing versatile pickup for some team.
We have a great non conference schedule to look forward to next year. Dec. 18 against OK State at Dickies Arena. Non sure on dates , but Virginia at home and Alabama on the road. Additionally we will be playing some quality competition at the Maui Invitational. Can't wait.
