Shout out to anyone who ever thought we should have traded James Harden for Ben Simmons.

Wow, that’s the kind of game that can get players traded and coaches fired!

Agreed, Rivers is actually encouraging Simmons not to score.

19 point final quarter is Silas level of incompetence.

    Well okay I was wrong

    The Sixers offer was trash.

(I voted for the Sixers package originally)
Having said that I also think the nets package was trash.
But what you going to do.

I advocated for a Simmons trade, but to route him to OKC to get our picks back.

Who knows if we would be in a better position.

Simmons. straight garbage. He's really just a role player that you should bench at the end of games

why the hell would OKC give up picks for Simmons, they are trying to tank.

In fact why would any team give up good picks for Simmons, he doesn't fit any team that doesn't have 4 shooters

Simmons was more widely valued before this season, it was a reasonable idea.

Anyone still advocating for the Sixers’ trade, espcially given Morey refused to offer unprotected picks, is just being stubborn. Simmons is literally unplayable in big moments.

Still thinking we should've offered Portland Harden for Lillard

people thought Simmons was somebody we could build around…that he was a foundational piece

his tremendous flaws get completely exposed come playoff time

his best role would be that of a more athletic Draymond Green that doesn’t even attempt to shoot, and ain’t nobody trying to build around Draymond Green…I know for sure Draymond would never be on the bench in the 4th because he’s a liability tho

we forget Draymond dropped 32 in game 7 against Cleveland…Simmons on the other hand could never

Simmons has 4th option scoring talent

I've been saying that Simmons is a more athletic version of Draymond Green.

Draymond at least is a decent FT shooter and gives you an occasional 3 if left wide open. And he can kick nuts and set moving screen without getting caught. Simmons can do none of those things.

Plenty of us realized the mere possibility of high lottery picks in a few years was worth more than maxed out Ben Simmons. He's a jump shot away from being the best player in the world, but he has shown no drive whatsoever to establish one. Until he does he is just like Westbrook, a huge liability when it matters.

The Rockets had no good trade options, so they took the one with the highest upside.

In a league where offense reigns you can't have Simmons as your best or 2nd best player. Maybe your 2nd best but you better damn well have a scoring machine on the team somewhere. If it weren't for Seth playing out of his mind this series Philly would have been 1-2-3 Cancun already.

I think the comparison to Draymond is an insult to Draymond. Draymond in his prime was the anchor in the Warriors half court offense. He was the orchestrator that made the right passes, set the right picks etc.

Simmons has not proven once he knows how to play offense outside of transitions.
