He’s intolerable, the worst is actually when he says something that is dumb, odd or just incoherent gibberish and he thinks he’s presented something great, mind-blowing or unique like a freaking professor. Love it the most when after that Shaq or Barkley ignore it or say it’s simple etc.

All of them do it, I mean Shaq is obnoxious as hell, but Kenny is the one who just presents himself as the smart one when he really isn’t. Shaq and Barkley are simple and present themselves as such.

Kenny can say what he wants!

7 threes to break Orlando in game 1 of 1995 finals and the repeat was a lock from there!!
    Legend.

(Who loves himself more than we ever could...)

Everybody who was around remembers exactly what happened to Kenny in that first championship. Specifically, they remember Derek Harper pushing him around like his little brother. But, I will say I chuckled when Kenny reminded Shaq about who was doing the talking in their Finals matchup.

    Kenny has an ego
And it’s not fake like Stephen A Smith or Max Kellerman

when Shaq and Kenny and Chuck argue, it’s real
They aren’t doing it for the paycheck

Kenny made a ton of money in the nba and is smart with his investments

this is why Inside is real
They are actually real nba players

Max and Stephen A are just entertainers like actors on a CW super hero show

I remember when Kenny was the owner of a wack ass Athletic store in First Colony Mall. He was the only employee there at 8:30 on a Friday night. He would try to sell you anything UNC.

a year later he’s on TNT. His store closed.

Kenny has to prop himself because Chuck and Shaq were legit franchise players and hall of famers.
That show really took off because of Barkley

It took off because it became silly and people craved something new. But now they got to balance it out again, since Kenny can no longer be taken seriously and Shaq ruins most debates / discussions. Only Ernie tries and Barkley is funny because he’s dumb, plain and simple. They should have a Grant Hill type alongside those two and we’d be good. Shaq and Kenny can leave.,

Can't stand Kenny, Hakeem should have slapped him right after he slapped Maxwell, may have finally knocked some sense into him.

Oh stop it, we don’t stay up late to look at Inside the NBA in TNT for deep analysis. Go watch one of the dozen nba podcast for that. We watch this for entertainment. I’ll be sad when they break up this core.

Yeah, they can poke fun at Kenny all they want, but Kenny was on the team that knocked both Shaq and Barkley out of the playoffs in 95.

And Kenny calling himself the voice of the team is overblown, but I do remember Kenny giving the pre-game speech in the deciding game 5 of the first round series against the Jazz. “We haven’t lost a series in a year and a half, so no reason to start now.” He may have been corny, but someone had to step up and fill that role once Max left the team.

Once Max was gone, honestly who else would be the voice of the team? Dream was not much of a vocal leader. Horry was shy. Clyde was new and he was, well....Clyde. Other than Dream, Kenny did have seniority on the 95 team, and I do remember him giving pre-game speeches.

Kenny was a flawed player, and good opposing point guards ate his lunch. But that dude did almost single handedly bring them back from 20 down to win game 1 against Orlando, which turned the tide of the whole series. We can make fun of his self-seriousness, but the guy did play an important role on the team.

From what I remember, Elie, Sam and Dream just wanted to get out and ball. They didn't suffer fools

He almost played that schtick to a head coaching gig until people took the time to listen to the utterly wrong garbage he was spewing.

Nice Shaq impression. Who said anything about deep analysis, which is ironically what Kenny tries to do.

Vernon flaked out on the team in the playoffs in 1995, so that takes away from his otherwise stellar career.
