Right now Durant is taking more beating than he should at his stage of career and medical history. At this point it's either Harden comes back and redeems himself or he is solidified as a choker. You just can't loose and say that you only had Durant, Blake Griffin, Joe Harris, Jeff Green and things would be different with 3rd superstar. Not if you want to live up to clutchfans expectations labeling you as number 1 in the league, not even mentioning stuff like "better than Jordan/Kobe" and other idiot takes

the problem with playoffs is usually everybody has injuries this can't be excuse. Rockets fans are used to using injuries as excuse but there's always some, LeBron always had someone injured while on Cavs. GSW as good as they were they always had man down too. It's just how it goes... you can't bring in post Achilles 32yo Durant, fat 32yo version of James Harden and injury plagued 29 well past his prime Irving and expect all of them to survive in playoffs. I was shocked AD made it last year but I guess he was just a bubble fraud, this season he came back to his normal self and broke down like always

Harden has how many years on his contract?

He can still join another super team as a last effort.

I am assuming that because he was so durable with the Rockets, his fair share of injuries will pile up later in his career.

Injuries are part of your career unfortunately.

People look at Kobe's trophies but the man had several career ending ones.

The streets are sayin Harden cashapp'd Saweetie (she's a Rapper) 100 Racks to go on a date with him. That isn't the interesting story to me though - Harden actually responding to rumors is the interesting part IMO

I have never ever seen Harden act this way. He usually just lets people talk about him until they get tired of it.

Harden has changed as a Net - fatter, less immune to slander

how are they favored at all? unless harden has magic hamstrings he's either not coming back or not at 100% in this series, and unless kyrie has a magic ankle, he's not walking that ankle sprain off and returning for game 5 and probably not game 6 (if he's not out 2-3 weeks). durant plus mike james is pretty clearly not getting it done unless people are expecting milwaukee to shoot like 5-43 on 3's in the next game.

harden’s injury was listed as hamstring tightness, not a strain or tear. so i’m wondering if he might actually be ready to go

The Reality maybe he does not need to be 100%
    The Nets need a calming influence .. . . a steady hand
He is not CP3 but he is the closest thing they have to him

    Pheonix is winning on leadership
    Harden can be CP3 . .. to KD's Booker

Nets calling it tightness isn't very clear. They haven't specified if the MRI shows any kind of strain. Also, apparently MRI of hamstring especially those previously injured could have inconclusive results.

Lastly the nets also diagnose Harden with tightness just prior to him injuring his hamstring and being out 6 weeks.

Maybe this time is different, but until there are reports of him engaging in full practices and running, cutting, sprinting, I wouldn't expect to see him on the roster.

Harden responding back must be Durant rubbing off on him.

He is living in his fantasy bubble. It is all good.

We should be living in there too but I just missed the ferry.

Sweetie broke up with one of the Migos, if she's single, don't see any issues if Harden was hollering at her. Better than a Kardashian.

Kobe was averaging 27 when he was 34 years old. then had a non contact injury of his achilles, which is not common but is extremely damaging. Harden plays low to the ground, his game is not built on his athleticism but skill, he should age pretty well

It is not very uncommon, a lot of former athletes are claiming pain and detriments left from their career.

The toll on your body is not just going away.

It is not about how well you age because a lot of that pain you and me as a fan wouldn't see.

    He won't tell you.

I agree, for athletes and the level of fitness they sustain its not like anyone else. Upto a point, exercise makes you healthier, but the level of extreme they do for this short period of window is detrimental to their health or breaking down their body. So of course father time always wins. Heck Lebron is an absolute anomaly, but all these guys are setting a new bar of whats possible and the therapeutics and knowledge and nutirtion is going to pave the way to continue to push for a year or two or more than you would've. Chris paul is another good example for harden.

Both of them play below the grand, have strong wide bases, all in all of course father time will ahve them adjust but they are skill players, not reliant on athleticism so in theory theey should age better is the point. harden could go back at 35/36 to okc harden coming off the bench just chopping up players ad he'd still be able to be a MAJOR contributor. Outside of unique injuries, i see this happening for harden more than even kd and kyrie bc of his game style and body type.
