To answer your question, this is a Loki from another timeline... it sounds like this Loki variant may be a she (aka Lady Loki) which will probably end up being revealed as Sophia Di Martino's yet to be named character. Hope this answers your question without spoiling much for you

Liked it. They leaked too much. I knew what the story was before I saw it. There was a little too much exposition in the time piece video. They should have let us find that stuff out. The DB Cooper thing had a lot of potential, and yet, all it turned out to be was a prank. That was dumb. They should have incorporated that into the Loki story. The infinity stones as paper weights was funny, but it dialed down the stakes on the end game, so not sure it was a solid move. Don't understand the importance of water in the gobi, or the gobi dessert either. But overall liked the weirdness of it and felt like Loki was the right guy to end up there.

The set pieces from the trailers drew me in. Hasn't disappointed so far.

Design reminds me of something from Bioshock. I've seen the 60's bueracracy style before in other shows (Good Life, Umbrella Academy...) but they ran with that ???60s??-punk style and evolved it to another level.

Shows you how much superior it is to film shows with a display background than a green screen that takes much longer to edit or scrub in post-prod.

Since we're full on spoilers now: Infinity Stones only work in the reality/timeline they're from. TVA seems to be outside of the MCU universe. It's an age old trope of not being able to utilize a precious resource, sort of like gold in the Americas- it was so abundant yet to the natives it was almost worthless. But to the European explorers, it was a massive treasure.

I’m a fan of the old Terry Gilliam films like Brazil and Time Bandits, and the show seems to be inspired by them. I dig it.

I saw a Honus Wagner rookie card in the drawer. What else did everybody see (besides the stones, of course)?

    A cross (Blade?)
    A dagger
    A five-sided Iron Cross medal (Red Skull's?)
A rudimentary arc reactor (Iron Man)
    A computer fan?
    A casino chip ($5k)

That is the French Legion of Honor. Probably not awarded to too many Germans between 1900 and 1950.

Not sure how multiverses work with the sacred timeline.

I guess there are multi-ple time keepers?

    Sounds very inceptiony

    Liked episode 2.

The Loki name plate, intro, and music is fantastic. As is the end close.

It's a good ride. Still like the plot direction, and if they misdirect the misdirection, that will pay off. Think it will. It's a slow build but they do get there by the end.

Might be fighting itself a little bit trying to figure out if it's a buddy show or if it wants to be "it's your move" type show, but it seems to be leaning heavily now toward the buddy cop show despite Loki's escape attempts. It almost seems like everyone is on the same side. They are doing a good job, but still sorting some stuff out. Perhaps still a little too much exposition, but given the high learning curve, it's understandable. And sometimes it seems like the TVA guy is explaining what Loki is thinking before he even attempts it on the show, like meeting the time keepers, kinda like Vader seems to know everything before it happens, which is fine, but seems like that knowledge conflicts with his characters undying belief in the timekeepers, and it sometimes feels like the show feels the need cut a plot line off verbally if it seems to obvious to us.

They do seem to always have one scene like the jet ski scene or the db cooper scene that is bad filler, but who knows, maybe it pays off.

Overall solid. Liked. Interested to see where it goes.

Loki just can't help being a sneaky, mischievous scamp.
