Could have something to do with Tilman Fertitta publicly and specifically taking credit for it. Not sure we why there is surprise that fans blame "other people". At this point I can accept that it was 2v2 against Morey and Dantoni.

Should have traded harden and kept cp3. Probably got way more for him.

Harden was the cancer and big time choker. He poisoned the Rockets environment.

Maybe not. If Chris Paul were on our team this year, he is so damn professional that he would have helped with the growth and maturation of the team. Who knows, maybe we would have made the playoffs this year.

I find it very ironic that Harden has an injured hammy just like Chris Paul. And he initially injured it against the Rockets...

It’s not healthy to live in the past. He plays for another team now.

    Don't miss him at all.

Doesn't mean I think we got a good deal for him, but have always hated the runty litte flopper!!
To be fair, Phx is an ideal scenario for him to set-up Booker et al, and have long strong defensive wings covering him - he is a great fit there and well done to the Suns for making that move.

Same here , said it before and repeating it here - I hated that guy in New Orleans and even more so when he went to LAC , only tolerated him while he was a Rocket ....

Harden's most selfish move as a Rocket is having CP3 traded for his best friend. That was the nail in the coffin for the Harden/Morey/Dantoni era.

Tilman is a real life example of a cf’s casual that believes they know how to run professional sports or organization. But in reality they don’t. Aka Tilman still a complete idiot. He had harden and Cp3 and really broke it up and dumped assets on top of it. Well be talking about this for generations about how he ruined the Houston rockets

Tilman sucks ass but you can't blame that on Tilman , damn near everyone here was complaining about how bad CP3's contract was after his play fell off a virtual cliff his last year here and no one foresaw him getting healthy and coming back anywhere near his current level of play.

He landed in the perfect situation in PHX and is averaging 13.3 8.9 4.2 in the playoffs - not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination.

Uh ok.... Sure thing Mr Fertitta, as you say it wasn't your idea, it was James' idea.

    Plenty of us did.

Paul's value has always been far beyond the standard box score numbers. He didn't suddenly start putting up 20 and 10 again this season, he has the same lost step he had here. But even with the lost step he's still an amazing player who does everything you need a player to do to win. Even with all of Bookers flashy stats, who had the best on/off number this season, it was Chris Paul. They tried to use the "great talent" argument last season in OKC, and we saw what happened to that talent when Paul left.

Harden in many ways is the exact opposite of Paul. Quite possibly the best offensive player in NBA history, but consistently refused to adapt to increase his greatness even further. If he did the things CP3 was hounding him about we have multiple titles, instead he just whined and told Paul to shut up because Paul had less talent.

I just remember 95% of this board turned on him and said he was washed up. This was the consensus here. I posted we should've traded Harden and kept CP3, especially after Harden quit in another post season series. Looks like I was right again
