ESPN and TNT hate harden and they create a narrative. Lebron and CP3 got the media locked down and they control what comes out. Harden, Durant, and Kyrie are the most hated players in the league. TNT, ESPN a lot of casuals would love to see them lose.

It's too bad we lost the opportunity for him to prove it in these playoffs.

You’re acting like he is out for the rest of the playoffs. He should be back either next game or game 6 max

harden kinda has proved it all year.. i think i saw on espn that the nets were just 12-14 without harden and 33-8 with him. Not to mention he has been their most impactful player in the playoffs

They will in an act of desperation but its futile.

That hammy is not listening to anyone.

Unless Nets have a time machine and can buy Harden 2-3 weeks of healing time, their season is done with Kyrie facing similar situation.

    Time to wrap it up.

There have been so many NBA players we’ve watched lose their hair over the years, like Malone, Drexler, Ginobili, LeBron, etc. But, for some reason, Durant’s bald spot kind of makes me sick. It’s like visual nails on a chalkboard for me. I don’t know why. Hate seeing it.

All doubts about Harden rests on his playoff performance, particularly later rounds. He has nothing to prove as far as regular season goes.

20% of the poll for this thread had the bucks winning even when everyone though the nets were completely healthy. the fact the bucks were getting destroyed even without harden and needed kyrie to get injured as well says more about them than the nets. reminds me of the OKC series last year where a decent number of people picked OKC to win since westbrook was injured, and then when it went 7 were like "how did the rockets struggle so much to win" like they hadn't just picked the thunder to win.

A lot of people vote what they wish, not what they think will happen.

Harden is better playoff performer than steph curry according bpm, vorp, and win shares per 48 during his rockets career. Do you consider steph curry an elite playoff performer

    Harden (85 games playoffs as Rocket): 7.6 BPM, 7.8 VORP, .173 WS/48
    Curry (112 games playoffs): 6.9 BPM, 9.5 VORP, .194 WS/48

I don't know what that means. I suppose he was elite when he scored 20 points and 33 points in the second halves against the Rockets in games 5 and 6 two years ago, eliminating us from the playoffs.

What I said stands. Harden had something to prove this year, and it sucks that he (most likely) won't be able to do so given the hamstring. If he is somehow able to come back from that and lead the Nets to a championship as their best player, he deserves all the credit in the world.

Curry has been carried a lot including that game he scored 33 in the second half. It was klay and iggy vs harden in that first half and prior to that it was kd vs harden. Curry shot like crap in that series against us

The results are the results. When KD went out in game 5, Harden was (supposedly) the best remaining player in the series. A golden opportunity was there to defeat the Warriors at that point, and instead the Rockets lose game 5 and then game 6 at home. One can always find excuses, if so inclined, but the fact remains that he has lost twice in the second round the last two years and he has not been at his best in those series. He had something to prove this year, and it's a shame that he likely won't be able to do it.

check the final stats from that series. Curry wasn’t the reason the warriors won. It was iggy and klay pretty much. They were the ones playing elite d and making 3’s
