    This is one of the saddest things from this. We already have a shortage of election workers and most of who do it are retirees or college students. It's a tedious and largely thankless job but it is vital to our democracy. These type of threats and accusations are going to make it harder to get more people to be willing to be poll workers and election judges.

    im not surprised at all. not after five years of this type of terrorist garbage from trump and his sychopants.

    none of this is new...going back to his early rallies where he told his cult members to beat up protestors and he would pay their legal fees (they did and he didnt). or his constant attacks on the media, to the point where they had to have police escorts back to their cars after rallies if not get outright attacked by mobs of trumpers. or more recently when trump supporters had a plot to kidnap, put on trial and execute the governor of michigan. they were no doubt inspired by trumps constant barrage of attacks against her. and how did trump respond to his supporters attempting to kidnap and murder a sitting governor? he mocked the governor.

    trump supporters, incited by trump himself, stormed the capitol and tried to overthrow our government simply because their guy lost., but before he came along i would have been greatly surprised by this. and i would have been even more surprised to know that an entire political party has aligned themselves with domestic terrorists to the level that the GOP has.

    youre right that we shouldnt be surprised by any of this, but dont you find that to be pretty surprising? here in the united states of america we are no longer surprised by domestic terrorism carried out for the benefit of a political party or politician.

    while that is somewhat true it takes the right climate with the right leader to express those behaviors out against election workers, government workers and the government

    There have been plenty of close elections in the US. Beside the civil war, I think this is the first time it gotten this bad. I don’t recall a time where our Capital was stormed by supporters of a candidate that loss. That is made specially possible due to Trump behaviors, his political allies and the big lie.

    Yes the World had a lot of problems before Trump but Trump was a smart enough marketer to spot a trend and capitalize off of it. A lot of what Trump said and did he did the opposite 15 years ago and it's doubtful even now he believes a lot of what he says.
