Durant to the bodyguard before each game: "Dude, swear that you'll have my back when you see that I am threatened by anybody on the court. OK? I don't want no one hitting me!" :D

They've got to have some rules. It's not gonna look pretty if bodyguards charge out every time there is fight on court.

Tmac in the East or with a slight roster change definitely gets out of the first round. Possibly even wins a ring. He doesn’t often get a fair shake on clutchfans.

But Harden is a significantly better player.

Didn't know Tim Grover worked with T-Mac. Should have trained with him his whole career. Tim did wonders for MJ and Kobe also trained with him IIRC. Kobe, the maniac that he was probably wanted MJ's routine + more. He was hurt a lot through his career compared to MJ.

In this era, sure. T-Mac was significantly more talented. Harden has the stronger body that i tried not to take for granted after rooting for T-Mac. Harden was a tank. I suppose it doesn't matter what era you play in if you're injury prone- though as discussed earlier-much is likely due to a bad workout regimen with the wrong trainer for his body and sport.

I love both players, but Harden got an easy pass for much worse things than T-Mac did. It's done and i'd welcome him back if he wants to return after they win b2b rings and play with our top prospects from this year and next years draft. If he wants to come in and make us trade those guys for one of his aging buddies, and bring in a coach of his choosing, he can stay with KD or follow him to the next super friends team.

The Milwaukee Bucks did not give Mike Budenholzer a mandate for how far the team would have to advance in order for him to keep his job. Milwaukee trails the Brooklyn Nets 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals following their Game 3 win.

"If Game 3 was the apex of this series for them, I think it's very unlikely and very difficult for them to keep Bud," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "He has a year left on his deal. They could have extended him early in the season or in the offseason. They chose not to. They were going to really ride this year out.

"I don't know if he has to come back and win it... If it ends in a thud, it's hard to imagine he's back."

Malika Andrews added that the Bucks need to at least show "progress" for how the team can improve moving forward and better their title odds around Giannis Antetokounmpo. Andrews said the Bucks had a "thud" in 2019 when they blew a 2-0 lead to the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals, and then a different "thud" in 2020 when they were eliminated by the Miami Heat in the second round.

For those who firmly think Harden is the clear best player on the Nets or just like great odds, their is some great odds at draftkings and other places for FMVP.

It is currently +1400 for Harden. That's the same odds as Gobert atm. Durant is the favorite at +200. I'm putting $100 just for fun on Harden just because the value is so good. I agree with line makers that Durant is the favorite, but the odds are too good imo.

Yes the injury is a concern and its no guarantee the Net's without Harden comes out of the East. But I expect (70% confidence) both Harden and Nets to be playing in the finals.

T-Mac WAS in the east before coming to the Rockets, and he had the same playoff failures there.

More talented at what? Dunking sure. He might be on par with Harden as a passer. That one’s debatable. As a physical specimen, Tmac is the obvious choice but Harden as the basketball player is significantly better.

Sorry I meant Tmac’s Rocket teams if they were in the East. Not getting out of the first round is a failure no doubt. But Tmac was a good player in the playoffs, for many reasons it just didn’t work out.

Is this joke? Considering how much **** Harden gets for all his failures, if he did something like blow a 3-1 lead after prematurely bragging about finally making the second round, his rep would be already be six feet under for good.

    this was so sad

his only move is a full speed drive and try to finish using his length and athleticism

Every time he tries some Dirk 1-legged fadeaway, it’s like, Giannis, just stop

Idk why he keeps trying to prove he’s actually a shooter taking all these terrible threes

Have you ever seen Tmac's advanced stats. His true shooting percentage is atrocious. He was an overrated chucker. He pretty much had two good seasons in his career

Without Harden the Nets a a very good team but not unbeatable. With Harden they become virtually unbeatable in a 7 game series. There is no certifiable guarantees but it’s a safe bet they will be unstoppable barring injuries .with Harden and KD you have two of the top 5 players in the NBA and Kyrie at worst is a top 12

Harden is what puts them over the threshold.

Did Harden even choke in a series (not one off game) when he had a healthy co-star? Pretty sure the answer is no, they would have won the championship if it wasn't for CP3's hammy. All I remember is years with no co-stars, CP3 having the ****ing terrible year (which people just automatically give him a pass for?), Westbrook (say no more), and Dwight admittedly having a good playoff run, but imo Dwight was no longer a star at that point.

We're seeing what happens when players don't have co-stars, or the co-stars are injured with Miami, Portland, Boston, the Lakers, and now Denver too.

Now if Harden comes back and ***** the bed with KD and Kyrie playing, I think that would legitimately be career defining in a bad way. But until then, in my view he did amazing things with non-championship calibre rosters, and the one championship calibre roster played like a championship team until CP3 went down.
