So if the Bucks go out like chumps again, do they fire the coach and try to rebuild around Giannis? Will he hit the ejection button and hope to land safely between two other stars like others who have failed to lead teams on their own? Where do the Bucks go from here? Feels like they’re on the brink.

pretty much the formula - gang rebound well enough and don't turn it over. turn it into a half-court game/series. brooklyn is hyper efficient in everything half-court related in terms of points per possession. it's like those golden state teams with KD except they actually understand how to play optimally, which is why houston had them on the ropes before the cp3 injury.

couch coach Buck fans think Brick Freak should be just a finisher and stop trying to initiate offense on ball

I doubt it happens but it would help a lot if there was a sweep. crossing fingers on that one. The Rockets could have a lot of high draft picks coming their way the next 5 years.

brooklyn nets offensive rating when harden was on the court this season was 138.6 lol. The Brooklyn have broken the game. It’s obviously carried over to the playoffs

If Giannis forces his way out of Mil after signing a deal that extends him until 2026 it's going to be the turning point for the NBA when it comes to letting guys force their way off of teams.

Brick Freak 1-6 outside the paint this game, and 0-2 from the line

Brick Freak basically a Ben Simmons who tries to score more and will take jumpers even tho they don’t go in…or a 6’10 Russ who doesn’t chase triple doubles

They would probably fire coach bud and maybe trade Middleton.

More importantly giannis needs to play center. Dude ability to score in the paint is similar to prime Shaq. He also needs to work on his post up play.

Bucks would then surround their big 3 with 3 and D players, giving the team more speed, shooting and versatility.

Brook Lopez is a decent role player, but giannis at center is a bigger mismatch for opposing teams.

Ultimately tho, the teams need to find that postseason confidence and attitude.

When you really think about it, this team is tailor made for someone like Giannis.

    - Great coach
    - Legit 2nd star in Middleton
    - Extra ballhandler/playmaker and one of the best perimeter defenders in Holiday
    - Big that can space the floor and hit 3s, in Lopez (also a good paint defender)
    - Absolute THICC dog (Tucker)
    - Insane depth (Divincenzo, Connaughton, Forbes, Portis, Tucker)

The Bucks literally have all the pieces to be a championship team. But Giannis just can't be the guy. Imagine Harden on this Bucks team, as currently constructed. They'd beat everyone, including a Kyrie/KD duo.

Giannis goes back to his go-to run the defender over move

Dude is less skilled than Shaq

I'm actually surprised when Giannis makes a ft. That's really not what you want from your number 1 guy

He has a player option in 2025. He'll be around 30. Theoretically, he could wait until then and just sign somewhere else. That way he'd leave as a free agent.
