Michael Rappaport throws all kinds of blows at LeKlutch and LeShannon.

    And Skip is so happy.

I'm not ignoring anything. I just don't think the Clippers WERE that talented. How much did they ever accomplish with Paul out of the lineup (which happened a lot)? ... Kinda honest question, actually, I don't remember that well, but I don't think it was a lot. Blake Griffin and DJ were always pretty overrated.

Regardless, sometimes, some teams are just bad fits. Even if you could argue he underachieved with the Clippers MAYBE, he has overachieved literally everywhere else when healthy.

Lebron didnt join the Lakers for the sake of Lakers.

    He went there for himself.

Everything Lebron does is for himself.

    He is fake.

So you actually have no basis for your argument, You need to do the research and you will be surprised how well they did.

I don't know if he can be the next king, but Trae Young taking that bow at Madison Square Garden was a kingly act.

3rd time in his career that he has skipped a post-series handshake. In hockey that's worth a few punches in the face.

Sometimes this dude acts like a spoiled high school star who got chosen one tattooed on his back. Oh wait...

    Yea, and?

He gave him his signed jersey.

Again, if something is not about him, he is not interested.

Remember when so many NBA fans and media were dead sure that Zion Williamson was the next one?

It's cause all the biggest rising stars Jokic, Embiid, Luka, Giannis are foreign and they want an American rising star up there with them. To be fair to Zion, he is really good and getting better just not at the level of those 4 yet. Him getting a signature shoe before Luka though is a travesty.

If next, means next Lebron that's a tall order. But next big star and next attraction the media/nba can get behind to drive profit/stories. Yeah Zion might be it (or one of them).

Plus dudes been really good too. Aside from Luka, Zion is the most valuable player under 23 in the nba IMO.

Crazy that there are that many foreign NBA stars. Besides Zion, Ja Morant is the other star the NBA will look to push.

Zion isn't a bust. His biggest concern is long term health due to his bulk. If he can stay on the court, he will be at least a second tier star.

I remember at least one season that they struggled mightily in like the 20 games he missed, and I've also seen how mediocre all those guys were on every other team they played for, meanwhile every team Paul has left has turned to dust, and every team he joined has improved significantly, usually beyond expectations. It's also somewhat telling that he only placed in LAC for six seasons and is already the all time WS leader for that franchise (not that it's some storied franchise, hah, but still).

Definitely agree with the long term health concerns and yeah he's at least a second tier star.

20 years old and he just played 61 games avg 27 points 7 Rebs on 65% TS. 61% fg lol.

Yeah, if only he could be as kind and warm and respectful and humble as the other greats the league has had... The Jordans, the Durants, the Shaqs, the Barkleys, the Kobes...

The difference between them and him is that they were not fake. They embraced themselves being jackasses with the possible exception of Kobe.

Definitely didn't say he was a bust. I would agree with 2nd tier star.
