New Book Claims Astros cheated in 2019...

This is beyond obnoxious... this is from SNY (clearly an unbias source):

In the first inning, after the Yankees thought Astros hitting coach Cintrón whistled and Boone complained, Cintrón stuck his middle finger out at the Yankees manager. That was when Yankees third-base coach Phil Nevin, a close friend of Boone’s, told third baseman Bregman, “Tell your third-base coach I’m going to kick his f--king ass.”

The Astros had been caught cheating again, two years after the trash-can scheme. It was a different violation, but a violation nonetheless. As Astros sources now admit, Yankees catcher Gary Sánchez was tipping the fastball that night by rising higher in his crouch. The whistling conveyed the sign to the hitter.

While audio cues had been a part of baseball for many years, MLB had made a point in 2019 that they were banned. Top league officials, including Joe Torre, Chris Young, and Peter Woodfork, had personally communicated this to managers, including Boone, during spring training in 2019.

    Then there's this little nugget:

At that point, some in baseball circles already had Cintrón pegged as part of the Astros’ cheating ring. While the Astros were cleared by MLB of the whistling allegations last postseason, that didn’t mean the Yankees believed them. As SNY wrote at the time, “The Yankees believed that their ALCS opponent was cheating, and that, according to a source, Cintrón was the one whistling to batters.”

I read about this accusation previously. It's not a new accusation, just a new book. MLB received a formal complaint after game 1 and did an investigation and had cleared them in less than 48 hours. According to that investigation MLB had SECURITY IN THE DUGOUT THAT WITNESSED NONE OF THE ACCUSATION.

Just a bunch of cry babies... think about it, if you take the Yankees at their face value they are accusing their catcher of telling the pitch and another team taking advantage... it's not sign stealing...

    LMAO.

They’re literally crying about **** that happens in little league/high school baseball.

If a pitcher/ catcher is tipping pitches... that’s on them 100%. No one else. This is hilarious

A book where Yankees make excuses for getting completely owned in the postseason by the Astros, further cementing for all of us what little ******es they are?

    Shocker.

    Not our problem anymore.

Is it coincidence that Gerrit Cole’s spin rate numbers went down after four minor leaguers got suspended for 10 games?” Josh Donaldson said in The Athletic. “Is that possible? I don’t know. Maybe. At the same time, with this situation, they’ve let guys do it.”

Coincidence. It looks weird that Cole's spin rates dropped, but it looks more like he ran out of the good stuff or was using a bad batch instead of not using anything at all.
