u have to be completely dense if u don’t realize that Morey leaving is part of what caused Harden to realize that the window had closed and it was time to move on if he wanted to win…I don’t have time for dumb sh*t like he left because he wouldn’t be able to be cancel practice anymore, be hungover, or whatever other stupid sh*t u mentioned

Hamstring tightness per Espn. He will be back at some point.

Do we know for sure who wanted out first?

There are tons of conflicting stories. I mean some people don't even know who asked out first between Russ and Harden (obviously Russ's trade req. broke first -- but...)

    Bucks just crapped themselves.

Kyrie and KD can hold down another game or two playing 40+ minutes. This is why Harden joined the Nets.

Yup to get an easy championship as the #3 option on his team

    The Nets really don't seem to have a hierarchy. It's 1a 1b and 1c.

Remember he was diagnosed with tightness at first and sat out a few games and then came back and strained it and missed a bunch of time. I don’t think he comes back this series. Brooklyn should and will be cautious

We know first and foremost mda wasnt asked to comeback. The covington was replaced with wood.

Apparently it’s tightness which is by far the best case scenario. There was no damage or strain . I would venture to guess he won’t play till game 5 at the earliest

Really would love to know what "so many games of other guys being red hot and Harden taking twice as many shots even when he was cold as ice" you're referring to?

This Brooklyn roster is just way too ****ing much. One thing is Kd Harden and Irving, but then you got Blake Griffin, 60% 3pt Joe Harris, DeAndre... and they were bout to have LaMarcus coming off the bench and Jeff Green injured... like wtf? This looks more like an Allstar team than regular team I don't know what NBA should do but this has to end because next thing you know you will have Luka Dame and Giannis teaming up with Joker and the league will make no sense

    After games played Sunday

    Playoff WAR

    Harden : 2.0 (3rd in entire league)
    Irving : 1.4
    Durant : 1.0

    Playoff Winshares

    Harden : 1.5 (2nd entire league)
    Durant : 1.1
    Irving : 0.8

    Playoff TPA league rank

    Harden : 1st
    Durant : 6th
    Irving : 37th

Harden had very clearly been their best and most productive player thus far. Not sure why we have to make up alternate realities.

There is no doubting Harden's talents. But at the end of the day:

    NBA Championships

    Durant: 2
    Irving: 1
    Harden: 0

You just accused Harden of running away to be a "third fiddle" on a team to get a ring and when pointed out that clearly has not been the case based on the performance, you pulled the championship card, yet....

    1) In the case of the best known All time Cowardice move in the NBA, It was a ringless Durant who had run off to the Warriors, a championship team that had just beaten him, and those are the only rings Durant has ever won

    2) Kyrie has never been #1 option on a championship team

Stop being stupid and owning yourself.

Do you know stupid it is to use championships as a justification of an NBA player's quality?

    NBA championships, active players:

    Udonis Haslem: 3
    Danny Green: 3
    Patrick McCaw: 3
    JaVale McGee: 3

    CP3: 0
    Harden: 0
    Jokic: 0
    Embiid: 0
    Giannis: 0
    Lillard: 0

Clearly those top 4 are better than those bottom 6, right?

Between championship count in this thread and the audacity to name Hakeem's defining playoff moments in the other thread .....I'm really concerned as to how damaged some of us have been since Les sold the team.

PS: Kerr > Durant and LeBron because, y'know, championships.
