What symphony though? The Bucks have a defensive trio of their own. I was never really into classic music.
How is playing with Durant cementing his legacy, it is more sharing his legacy with another MVP. Scottie Pippen or Rodman were never MVPs but stars in their own rights.
Yeah, I don't think it's a good point because it's not like the Bucks can't shoot and will only exclusively shoot 2 pointers.
I get it, they have the 3 secksey superstars if you count Irving. Durant is the fake power forward lelz. Everyone is excited. Milwaukee has the star and the team, it is going to be good. Harden on Giannis and Giannis on Harden. Bryn Forbes did average 15 ppg against Miami, we'll see.
Everyone looking forward to Giannis defending Harden and I'm looking forward to seeing Tuck on Harden. I just need to see that play out a few times. I want to see Harden call for that switch and ISO Tuck.
Tuck can't cover Harden. He isn't fast enough anymore. Harden will go off on the bucks. Harden is going to have at least 40 combined points and assists. It just depends on how they play him.
Agreed. To his point, winning changes everything. Doesn't seem to matter anymore if you stack your team with other alpha superstar hall of famers. As long as they win. Hardens legacy will be cemented even if he and KD and Kyrie got destroyed in the media if they lose(ala Heatles year 1), they can win next year and all is well again. Thanks for the current state of the NBA, LeBron.
Not sure if he was coasting and could flip the switch but Deandre Jordan was terrible defensively during the regular season. It'll be a big mistake if they start/play him at all. I would consider starting Claxton and maybe going five out when Jeff Green comes back if that doesn't go well.
It is funny that Durant transitioned from the Super Sonics to Thunder. Now he is back with the Brooklyn Nets that were the New Jersey Nets not that long ago.
IMHO you have to contain Joe Harris, get into Kyrie's head, play some games on Blake. The next guys are Bruce Brown and Jeff Green who might be slightly injured. Also who hits more 3s?
Reffing will be a big determiner in this series I suspect that the Nets whole front line will have 5 fouls by the end of the 3rd in some games Rocket River
Does it mean that refs would for some reason be biased towards the small market Bucks, and not the multi-star NY team?
Keys of the game: Which team is better at exploiting and attacking the mismatch (story of the modern NBA). Harden is one of the best IF NOT THE BEST at continually looking for and exploiting mismatches. Durant, Irving can score just as well in mismatches but they lack Harden's ability to pass and draw fouls at the elite level. How will Bucks defend when Harden tries to isolate Forbes, Teague, Connington and Lopez. Bucks have been running a ton of Jrue/middleton Jrue/Giannis and other combinations to attack the weak link of defenses as seen in the Miami heat series. Look for them to try to attack Irving, harden and Harris to not only score but also to get them in foul trouble.
It's borderline pathetic that a thread about two distinctive teams can morph into Harden references...
Harden is the key to the series. Nets narrowly lost two games to the Bucks without Harden, and won one with Harden and KD (no Irving). The Bucks confidence is based on how they match up with the Nets without Harden.
