    There were years when everyone who played and won against the Rockets went on to win a championship later on.

    Notably Worriers and Lakers.

    This year you couldn't tell, which is interesting in itself.

    And zero players from the Nets, the most feared team in NBA this season with their historic offense.

    I can't decide between Ryan Bowen and Corey Brewer. Two of the most popular Rockets legends. I guess I'll root for the Pelicans just so Jalen Green's ceiling can be raised to a new height.

    Kenny Atkinson was a former Rockets assistant.

    Did I miss when Erik Spoelstra was a Rockets assistant? o_O


    “Atkinson was a former Rockets assistant under Van Gundy and was most recently let go by the Brooklyn Nets in March after being head coach for four seasons.

    Atkinson has a relationship with general manager Daryl Morey dating back to his time as director of player development with the Rockets during the 2007-2008 season.”

    While neither has the chance to win one as THE guy anymore, I still think their careers deserve one as important contributors.

    Would be crazy if those two teams both made it.

    When you look at the organizations that have acquired ex-Rockets, one big difference between these current playoff teams and the Rockets is that none of them have freaking Credit Karma MONEY on their jerseys.

    I don't know if I'd really consider Theis a rocket but I'm definitely rooting for them to embarass the Nets so KD/Kyrie leave and our pics get better.

    It may be hard to remember but CP used to be much better than he is now. That's how good he was. Maybe the 2nd best PG ever.
