I mean, I know you're a CP only fan. But the bias towards Phoenix is unwarranted. Just because CP is partially injured starting from the first game, you're going to say the Lakers team was always going to lose this series even w a healthy AD? I know Booker is a special player. But... chances are slim for most superstars to be scoring 40+ pts in multiple games in any series. I can only really recall one such occurrance, when LaMarcus Aldridge put up back to back 40+ pt games in the rout of the Rockets in the 1st rnd. He's never done that since and I also can't remember any other player in any other series. Maybe Jamal Murray in the losses? But they lost the series so it didn't matter.

A good take and a hot take. You could say more about Giannis lol whose Offense isn't really superstar material. If Lebron arrives in the West at the age 27 instead of South Beach, you can be sure he would have made the Playoffs, but not the Finals every year. Hakeem isn't even considered Top 5 of Alltime by many outside of Houston so there is no shame in that as well. But realistically in that scenario, I think the media would have found a way to park him at Top 3 or Top 4. You can put him in the Top 5 based on his 'unique skillset' and freak of nature status alone. Because he isn't a known closer his skillset needed them to fill the team.
