Has anyone else been through this training for being in grizzly bear country? I did this before some northern Rockies backpacking. Was so lame to carry the extra weight of the spray can but I guess it was worth it just in case. And we didn't see anything much larger than a marmot. LOL.
Now.... *this* guy is bad a$$! And gets a reply by Phil Mickelson himself... Note: if you want to see two more bad a$$es, watch Seven Yards (both the football player and his fiancé)
Haven't been through the training, but got some general instructions at a sporting goods store in Montana on Monday. Hiked up to Avalanche lake later that day and while walking back along the trail saw a group of people with their phones out. Asked them what it was and someone whispered bear. I turned to see a huge bear literally 20-30 ft away. Snapped a quick not so great picture and kept on walking. That was crazy. Oh and beautiful park. I highly recommend. Here is my not so great picture. https://ibb.co/k2bBGRj
