I've never even bothered to look at Bull's social media until now, but have you seen the entire league? I just took a look and anything he posted was effectively in line with the entire NBA. Mundane stuff. I can't really see why people are saying he's out because of his social media. I liked Bull but he wasn't anything special as an announcer. Sad to see him go, and hope they find someone that isn't related to Fertita to replace him
Ridiculous. Now a team of players I barely care about and announcers to which I have no connection. What a time to be a Rockets fan! Anyway. Just a guess, but thinking maybe they want to bring in a black announcer to pair with Ackerman.
I love Bull for what he has done for the Rockets. Always will. But I gotta admit he was/is king of the dad joke, and used to force lame nicknames. Gary "Bright Lights " Clark? I think that was a favorite of @DreamShook.
Thank God... If I heard another made up analytic Acronym from him , I was gonna send an email to Silver
I agree on the political. Just give him a heads up to dial it back. Not bring him back? **** that!!!!
This sucks. He seems like a genuine good guy and cares about the city and the Rockets. I hope he comes back.
What's a hardcore liberal? Does America even have a hardcore liberal wing? You.guys need to visit Canada and Europe.
I agree, but those days are gone. Every damn shoe company, tech company, food company, hell the nba, nfl now are all in the political sphere. Every joe or nba plyer with a twitter now is a pundit and the 'news tv' becoming entertainment has spilledi nto entertainment and news being muddied. i don't find it to big of a deal, I' don't find myself offended or snowflakey about someone saying their views even if i disagree. Its a non issue Bullard wasn't a great commentator or anything unique, but he was a dream team rocket and its always good to see those guys around. I hope another clutch city guy is his replacement like vernon. I would love a little more history of the rockets to be present in our culture, the more the better. But in any case i think we'll deal with them saying their private views no matter what and the future is moving more towards that. Just get a damn rockets legend i dont care if its max well or gerald green or rudy T or scotty brooks
I thought he was absolutely terrible when he started the job, but he had improved dramatically to the point I thought he was one of the best. If it is was political, that is really unfortunate and uncalled for. Also, I love "boring" commentators. I get emotional enough watching basketball. I don't need the commentators telling me I'm not riled up enough already. Also, it's awful listening to a homer claim "their team" is flawless.
