Bill and Bull have been a staple for Rox games, but I'm alright with both of them going. Frankly, Bull is likeable, but his stick was old. I'd be good with bringing in a whole new crew, but keep Cayleigh and Calvin. Heck maybe they could even replace B & B with C & C. Mad Max would be phenomenal ... "MFers numbers don't lie!"
He was good with Craig. Hit or miss with Bill when he’d try to be too funny. If Bill was sharp, he’d elevate Bull. Overall I think he wasn’t the best color analyst ever but definitely didn’t deserve to get fired. What is BS is I would bet you anything he’s only being let go because this last year he’s started letting it rip on politics on Twitter. However he never really brought that into the games. Also what he posts on Twitter is never inaccurate or dangerous. It’s not like he was advocating for a coup attempt or saying stuff that is racist. But i guarantee you Tillman didn’t like that because Tillman still thinks there’s some illusive fan base that will not eat at Landry’s or go to Rockets games because they think the Rockets are “woke.” I guess we’ll just have to see who they hire now in his place. If they bring Clyde back I think I’m passing on league pass this year.... maybe not but I’ll at least be checking out the other teams commentators more often. If it’s Milk Hair I’ll definitely be out... no way I’ll listen to that jackass for 6 hours a week. Not sure who else would be on the list. I don’t think Tillman has the balls to hire a woman like Cynthia Cooper or Swoops, but that could be interesting.
I haven’t really listened to the Rockets broadcast crew in a few years. Bullard is a good guy, and loyal member of the Rockets family. Sad to see him go when it’s not of his choosing.
Craig and Calvin — could be a good mix. Would be nice to Calvin get back into the broadcasting booth, even if it isn’t with Bill next to him.
Glad Dudley Do-Right is gone. I got tired of his boring dad-like jokes. Now promote Calvin to his spot and I'm good.
If it a) happens and b) involves the Rockets, then TF is surely behind it all, like an old episode of Scooby Doo
His contract was up, and the organization going in a different direction. Good bye to him and let’s see what happens next. We will get a clean start with no looking back. That is not a bad thing.
Bull dislikes The Tilman- The Tilman fires Bull- I wouldn’t be surprised if The Tilman does away with commentator crews and we are forced to listen to the opposing teams broadcasters.......
If Tillman has something to do with this. I hope the worst for all his businesses. I hope Harden wins a bunch of championships. Lotto ball not landing top 4 spots would be great aswell.
