whoever did all that “research” for Boston should be fired ASAP

Harden and a young Tatum would’ve been a crazy duo

34/10/10/2/2 and only 1 turnover. Another brilliantly played game from Harden.

If it was Brown, Smart and picks, and then the C's ended up trading for Fournier like they did, then:

    Kemba / Pritchard
    Harden / Fournier
    Tatum / Langford
    Thompson / G. Williams
    R. Williams

And Ainge could probably work some deals so that they could sign Drummond later on, too.

Kemba would basically be Kyrie. Tatum is a complete enough player to be in the mold of Durant. Thompson (and a signed Drummond) would just gobble up rebounds and play good defense.

That's a championship contender for sure. Kemba probably wouldn't be as hurt as he is now, too.

While Celtics were clearly stupid to not to team Harden up with Tatum, no team is a championship team with Kemba lol.

    Kemba is trash.

I would still Get Harden to play with Tatum and then worry about the rest of the pieces later.

Kemba is Magic Johnson compared to the vast array of PG bums Harden managed to turn into gold with his Midas touch.

At this point I'm starting to think this was one big conspiracy and someone on Harden's team scared Boston/Philly/Miami away so that he could get to Brooklyn because it is amazing so many teams passed on an MVP talent in his prime to hang on to dudes that would be lucky to have 3 All-star appearances.

The only conspiracy is that dumbass teams like the Celtics, Heat, Nuggets, and Sixers fed into anti-Harden propaganda.

“Doesn’t pass”, “inefficient chucker”, “doesn't play defense”, “bad fit”, blah blah blah.

Even Nets fans were apprehensive at first. Now people see him night in and night out and see just how special of a talent he is, and why you give up A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G to get him.

I'll be fair to Philly though, they knew. Obviously, there was some pettiness going on there to prevent that deal from getting done...

The rest of those teams though should forever regret it.

Harden is leading the team in pretty much every advanced metric LMAO. The only person who's maybe had a better playoffs so far is Lillard and I disagree with even that since he got absolutely carried last game by his teammates.

I think CP3 helped the defense tremendously his first year. That was his biggest impact.

Harden leads all playoff players in offensive rating.
Harden leads all playoff perimeter players in TS%
Harden leads all playoff players in VORP
Harden leads all playoff players in winshares
Harden leads all playoff players in box plus minus
Harden leads the Nets in assists
Harden leads the Nets in steals

He leads the Nets in almost every stat and most of the league in damn near every impact and advanced metric.

If this holds up this looks like the making of a playoff run we see every 10-15 years or so

there was a media campaign focused on trying to sully Harden’s name led by Tim MacMahon and his little buddies, and people bought into it

just a straight up lie, and they’re allowed to do stuff like this with impunity

I really hope he wins a championship with a finals MVP. People have been bashing him for not winning enough.
