i don't have Stathead to check, but I think jordan's 69/18 game is the highest ever. i would think kobe's 81 would be up there. also Game Score starts in '83-'84 so it wouldn't include crazy numbers from the 60's era. edit: i see it was already posted. didn't know bbref had the list. so harden's 60 point triple double and malone's 21/26 game where he scored 61 are the others. game score tends to highly value not missing shots (seemingly more than racking up assists and rebounds) so i'm not sure if it penalizes 3 point shooters who end up with more overall misses while having the same efficiency as guys who shoot more 2 pointers.
I'm actually pissed off at Dame's teammates. Looked like 2018 Rockets out there. CP3/CJ washed and Harden/Dame carrying but falling short because the rest of the team are a bunch of losers.
It's already been living off the other two game winners he has hit to advance to the 2nd round. Media and fans care about historic shots and games. Not really sure if this game will be remembered since he lost. Epic game, epic shots, but at the end of the day he lost.
this is the 3rd 50+ point game an opposing player has had against the Nuggets in just the last 2 postseasons
im not sure ive ever seen one guy WILL a team more than last night. they were dead in the water twice. his teammates let him down in the end. also the three he hit to send it to the second overtime shouldve probably been an and1. thats a very tough loss. his teammates owe him one in game 6.
Almost all of his big memorable moments have been in the 1st round. Vs Houston Vs OKC Bubble restart to get 8th seed Denver last night He’s had plenty of stinkers. Like Game vs 7 Denver he went 3-17. He doesn’t have any memorable exits, probably because Blazers always get eliminated in 4-5 games. Hats off to him for not running off to join a Superteam though. 22-38 playoff record https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/l/lillada01/gamelog-playoffs/
Those shots Lillard hit were insane. Props to him for that. This has been a great series. I bet it goes 7.
Think MPJ saw this thread https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/will-someone-break-jordans-63-playoff-points-record.311789/ Blazers 28 Nuggets 27 MPJ 22
