from the Chronicle: EDDIE GRIFFIN ·Position: Power forward. ·Height: 6-9. Weight: 222 TERENCE MORRIS ·Position: Small forward. ·Height: 6-9. Weight: 221 Hmmmmmm. There is some talk about Eddie hitting the weights, but right now he is looking to be a pro 3 (along with T-Rock). ------------------
You must also consider that Eddie Griffin has a much stronger back-to-the-basket game and the Morris prefers to play facing the basket. Therein the difference lies. ------------------ "So, is there still a big rivalry between North Carolina and Duke?" Craig Sager - Proving the only thing bright about him is his shirt.
Having the exact same height and weight does not not mean that Griffin and Morris will have the same skill set. Griffin from what I have seen does not look wide enough in the frame to bang with the bigger 4s in the league (and his listed weight confirms it.) Saying that he needs to gain weight to play the NBA 4 spot I think is very misleading. Griffin looks to be able to defend some pro 4s and not others. This is not a bad thing, just a thing. I think the Rocks still need to go after a low post presence in FA. Webber would work [This message has been edited by No Worries (edited June 29, 2001).]
