What Nets need to do is pretty much play Harden 45 minutes a game.

Their offense falls to pieces with him out.

Harden meanwhile needs to pace himself while he is playing 45 minutes.

When he has both Kyrie and Durant on he floor, he needs to dial down his own offense to conserve energy and instead set others up and mostly take open shots only. Unless the opposition is stupid enough to play off of him, then go bananas.

When the Kyrie/Durant sit, he should go into the Iso score mode.

It is such a luxury to have Harden on the team because he is a two way elite offensive player. Scoring AND Playmaking.

If I am the opposition, my tactic would be to make Harden a scorer and not a playmaker. That would give me the best shot to win the game.

You give Harden efficient scorers to play off of him and with his playmaking skills, its pretty much impossible to stop the team.

 

I do wonder if in the next series, with Buck's size. We may see DeAndre on the floor against a Lopez of a Giannis. There's Blake and Claxton, but Claxton is still filling out his frame.

Nets frontline sucks. Jordan is trash. Low IQ player that cant even protect the rim anymore. He is a liability on both ends.

Lemarcus would have been the best big for Nets because of his jumper and would have opened up the floor for everyone.

The bigs is Nets biggest achilleas heal.

They will have to win the ring using Rockets formula from last year.

Play small and overwhelm teams on the offensive end.
