We lost the series, but we really won. At the end of the series, we didn't lose ground to the A's, but the Yankees and Dodgers will be in 3rd place.

Our bullpen is awesome. If the starters can’t go 7-8 with a solid lead… we are in trouble

Considering I've been watching the Astros since the 70s, it would have been heartbreaking.

Scrubb is terrible. He needs more time in Sugarland.

    Out-hit 9-5 but win by 3

Urquidy's return next game is huge and Jake's start yesterday gives hope because we now have more starters which will, in turn, improve the bullpen. Astros need to do what the Padres did today. 1) Starter then 2) former starter relieves multiple innings.

Once Lance is back I think you do that with Javier and Garcia on a regular basis.

About Astros 5 players should be in line at the Greyhound station ready to board to AAA... It's right down the street from MMP.. No excuses and cost convenient for the owner..

Smith needs to retire and then bring up Solomon

Scrubb to AAA and bring up Taylor

A relief pitcher named Scrubb. Just a terrible baseball name.

He had ONE. 2/3rds of an inning vs the Athletics on 5/18 in the 7th inning.

These guys have a book out against them now. And even last year, Scrubb had issues with command.

Add to the fact that they’re now pitching in front of fans for the first time, and it’s not at all surprising.

I guess baseball is different from football. Many football players played before huge crowds while in High School and certainly College.

Baseball has fans, but not the huge crowds outside of the playoffs until you get to the higher pro minors. Even then, it's 5 to 15 thousand max. But crowds have seemed timid at this point outside of the inexcusable brawl.

While it has not been reported as such, I cannot imagine that alcohol wasn't involved and MLB would want to keep that quiet since they make a ton of money off alcohol sales.
