Friends was one of my favorite shows growing up so it was cool to see this IMO. It just came out last night on HBO Max. Did anyone here watch it yet? If so how did you like it? Discuss
I’ve watched half of it. It’s good. Pretty much the same format as the fresh prince reunion. I never actually watched the last season. Maybe the last couple. I lost interest sometime around the Bruce Willis era. Monica’s sure had some plastic surgery. Chandler too. Rachel, Ross, and Phoebe look great.
Friends was great for its time, but absolutely awful on re-watch. I cannot think of another show that I enjoyed so much during its original run that I cannot stand anymore on re-run.

Teens love it as well since it has been on Netflix. Was never really a fan, just loved to look at Phoebe and Monica.
My gf and I watched it last night. She really liked it and it was entertaining for me. Chandler's new veneers were really distracting and Monica's had one too many plastic surgeries. Other than that it was a good reunion show with some nice guest appearances.
Weird, I thought Monica was a cougar. I never really watched it aside from some clips but I always thought it was fun. Also just learned about their last names, Green, Geller, Bing, Buffay.
The best plastic surgery is when you can't really tell if they've had plastic surgery and it helps them age gracefully. (but still age) Courtney Cox has gone too far with it lately.
See, yeah her jaw seems different but still think she was the best looking of them. For me everyone had different voices, their voices changed throughout time. CC's, Kudrow's and Schwimmer's voices did not change that much. You could tell Leblanc matured his voice. It could also be a better sound system.
How was Matthew Perry? Has he gotten over his addiction issues?? I thought he was the best in the show.
Joey's joke about his roof in the trailer was hilarious. Don't have max so i'm out, but it was a good show and still seems funny in syndication.
Watched this. enjoyed it more than the show lol. I didn’t hate the show or anything... it was just a time of my life where I was actually more hanging with my friends than watching shows religiously or anything. I watched enough here and there to get the gist and know what was going on but beyond that it was just a show. also I found it at the time and still find it somewhat overrated as a classic sitcom. Seinfeld was so unique and groundbreaking quirky. The office was unique. Modern comedies just seem much better production quality wise. I get why Friends was popular though. It was almost a last of its kind major network sitcom that wasn’t super unique or interesting but was just super solid and well done. anyway... Reunion was entertaining. From the table reads you can kind of tell Schwimmer is the best pure actor. Aniston gives off a weird vibe to me. Cox was kind of forgettable. Kudrow was like that underappreciated character that was way better in retrospect. Same with LeBlanc... better and more real as a real person. Perry seems like a mess but conversely I enjoy his personality of sarcastic humor one liner zings.
