He is most effective down in the low post but Dallas is putting him in the corner to free up space for Luka.
no he is not. He cant even post some point guards. Its embarrassing how weak his lower body is. I feel bad for Luka, he is supposed to have a decent co star helping him and instead he gets the other playoff P. Still i think the Mavs close this in 6, unless Lukas shoulder is really bad.
with the way the game started, I’m a little surprised the mentally weak, frontrunning Clippers managed to come back and win...maybe the fear of embarrassment kicked in I know Luka is a great player, but how many shots is he gonna be allowed to hit against the likes of Zubac, scrub Bev, Rondo, Batum, Reggie, and Morris? Kawhi and PG are 2 alleged elite defenders (their defense is more reputation at this point than results), but all it takes is some simple screen for them to no longer be guarding Luka. Smh, Clippers been doing the same thing for 9 straight playoff games against Luka making him look like MJ
Same thing we saw in the BKN game. All it took was one simple screen to get Claxton or Durant replaced with Kyrie and Brown, and then Tatum would go off.

We actually don't know if that's true because he can never establish a good deep low post position. Even Beverley can push him off with ease. KP is at his best when he's doing lot of different things. Pick and pop, pick and roll, cutting, spotting up... He reminds me of Dwight when he played with Harden. Both teams were trying to feed their big man early so they had enugh motivation to play without the ball later. The only problem is Dallas has been trying to feed KP in 4th quarter of third game and not in first.
