I know this may sound kindof odd, but what do you think about using Griffin as a 5 at times? I know he's undersized, and not strong enough, but against backups he'd be solid enough, and it could really get us some speed to run the floor. Imagine this lineup on the court: PG - Steve SG - Cuttino SF - Morris (or possibly Langhi) PF - Mo Taylor C - Eddie That lineup could pose some interesting matchups, and you know Rudy is a matchup guy. I mean, let's face it, this MIGHT even work against some starting centers since so many of them are undersized, weak and crummy right now anyways. It would potentially give us better shotblocking in the lane, and allow us to put our 5 best players in the game at once (assuming Morris/Langhi will be good). I imagine Rudy will use Griffin mostly at the 3, but you know how he loves creating those "interesting matchups", and so maybe we'll see him do something like this . . . just a thought. By no means do I think that Griffin is a 5 though, I really don't think he's a 4 either, but I could see him putting in some time at the Center spot, creating mismatches and allowing the team to run the floor better. ------------------ CC.net's most courteous driver Oh yeah, and I'm looking for a job right now, so hire me please
I was just reading some recaps of last years games, and I forgot about Moochie. Rudy loved playing Steve, Cuttino and Moochie at the same time. He may go small on occasion, and use Griffin at the 5 with this lineup: PG - Moochie SG - Steve SF - Cat PF - Taylor C - Griffin ------------------ CC.net's most courteous driver Oh yeah, and I'm looking for a job right now, so hire me please
