re Lol I don't take this stuff seriously at all. Things I do take seriously are things like forgetting to put sunscreen on my feet when at the beach this weekend. Note to self. Lol
I meant MLB people. But the same applies here too. Hunch is beloved by just about everyone. Luhnow not so much.

Do they just group all 2 seamers as sinkers, because it's a pretty noticeable distinction between a sinker and the Maddux.
If we make the playoffs with this current bullpen they certainly can't be counted on. It's not like they have a consistent track record to fall back on.
I was watching the Angels feed and they said Canha yelled something to Ohtani and the announcers felt Suzuki did a good job to defuse the situation.
Ozuna arrested. Good thing the Astros didn't sign him(although not sure how serious the interest was. Maybe was a just in case we don't sign Brantley, we'll reach out). https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports...d-on-domestic-violence-charges-013142598.html

Strikeouts already are 1,929 ahead of hits, just three years after exceeding hits for the first time over a full season. Hits have averaged 7.78 per team per game, the second-lowest behind 7.75 in 1908 during the dead-ball era. https://www.chron.com/sports/article/MLB-236-batting-average-though-May-lowest-since-16216928.php

It is, but they lowered the mound in '69 so that is often used as a cutoff date for certain stats. https://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/MLB/bat.shtml
Plus you have "fastball". Not a 4-seamer, not a 2-seamer, not a cutter, not a split-finger. It's a mother ****ing fastball.
