That's not the most stringent criteria. I've had beers with 20 or 30 people on the site, in four different states. There's no one here I wouldn't enjoy meeting.
I get along with most anyone. My coworker hails from Republican country----born and raised in Alabama, went to Auburn, favorite color is, therefore, orange---and when I saw her calendar of GWB, I exclaimed, "You've gotta be kidding me!" She teases my politics, I tease hers, but we get along. We both show our stripes on political issues but, oh, well. Now, whenever TJ posts, it's tough to stay calm, because I think Karl Rove is a Rockets fan and he must be posting as Trader Jorge (kidding; but you gotta wonder; maybe Tom DeLay?) If I didn't get along with people who disagreed with me, I'd be in trouble. White heterosexual (yes, I am! I...I swear!) Democrat males in Texas? We're probably all hiding at various Borders and Barnes and Noble locations across the state.
Sad but true. Sometimes it seems like the YOF vs SOF divide is even greater than conservative liberal. I'm waiting for the threads: "Yao lied!" "Why does Steve Francis hate America?"
