it's disappointing how many future hours i'm going to spend arguing (whether i believe it or not) that luka isn't a top 10 all-time player after he inevitably gets a couple of championships.

I don't mind that he does this, as long as its not in a Mavs jersey. Would love to see him light up MSG as a Knick or practically any other team. I think he is headed for a Harden type future with the Mavs. He will do all of the work to get them far, but it will inevitably not be enough. The Mavs were a solid contender for a decade and ultimately things worked out one year with an insanely deep lineup. I doubt Luka will have the patience that Dirk did. he's already seemed upset at times with the squad he has been given. I think the Clippers are just not that good, they can win a round or two, but won't win it all with this type of squad.
