Been a fan since 92 but never have I felt as hopeless for the team as I do now. Just how fast he destroyed a top 2 team in 3 years. Im still Rockets all the way but I cant say I dont want something to happen to force him to sell.
I'm a true fan and it was in our best interest to give ourselves the best shot of potentially drafting a franchise-changing player.
Rocket fan here but not trying to "outfan" any damn body... I wouldn't blame folks one bit for jumping ship now or bandwagoning later ... I'm somewhere in between...

Truly that's good for you. I'm sure we've all seen people bandwagon by buying merch right after winning the chip. I'm fine with it up until the finals. Past the finals, you're no longer just bandwagoning, you're basically a fake fan to me.
Yeah, I didn't mention a join date. I hate having to clarify 900 thousand times... Being in favor of the tanking post-Harden trade is logically sound. The people who wanted to tank prior to Harden being traded, those people are anti-Rockets fake fans. And yes, those people existed. Either they thought Harden really did suck and the Rockets would benefit from trading him because they were actually uneducated about basketball, OR they truly just wanted to move from Harden and tank ASAP to get the tank over with. There's a TON of those people who don't show up here anymore.
I'll lighten up when something good finally happens to the team. Even if it does happen, I'm still here anticipating the fake fans that's about to ask the superstar to get traded again just because we can't get to the finals.
Yeah, it matters if the posters here are real or fake. Fake fans made this place suck for a long while. If you've been through that, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I don't buy merchandise just to prove my fandom.... Unless it's discounted at Ross or something.... I'm at the games watching live with my sons if they're playing well... If not, I'm at the house probably listening/watching the game in the garage... Guarantee that's more than most of these so called "real fans" do... But again the idea of real fans is stupid to me anyhow..
Moved to Houston in 74. My brother & me were in the stands when it was announced that the Rox had drafted Robert Horry. We looked at each other & said "who?!". Retired & moved west of S.A. in 06. You know how hard it is on someone when they wear their "Back to Back NBA World Championship" shirt out here in the middle of spurs country?!!!! Yes I'm a true Rockets fan!
I gave up on this season and stopped watching around 9 games into that losing streak. But, my heart will always be with the Rockets. I just don't want to watch them when they are this bad. Is that wrong?
