The part about Kyrie's game I love to watch - dude scores on his matchup. He's like a throwback iso player. Like, Kobe, Iverson, Jordan etc, they straight attack their matchups regardless if it was the best perimeter defender. Today's nba is increasingly about great scorer isolating against centers, pfs or other mismatches. While its definitely the smart and best practice, I still missed the days of watching the best vs the best ie... Hakeem vs Robinson/Ewing, Jordan vs Dumars, Kobe vs Bowen/Ginobli/Allen/etc.
Nets played poorly. Esp in the 1st quarter. They were atrocious from 3 Harden didn't have a great game. Wills won't get 9 blocks again I don't suspect. Rocket River
I thought watching the Nets would be less boring in the Playoffs. I was wrong. Maybe when they get to a Harder opponent. I know some of us complained about Harden Iso's as a Rocket, but that was because it was plan A-Z. Now that Harden has a stacked Squad I need these ISO's and Lobs back. Watching Kyrie and KD work and Harden just pass the ball to the corners and go to the ft line is very boring. Bring the spice back.
durant didn't have a great game but he's such a security blanket for just getting 25-30 no matter what. harden was meh and still gets a (somewhat) comfortable win.
